Order Up!
If you read my other blog (Lisa Reviews), you will already know that a couple of weeks ago we bought a Wii. Let me tell you, if you don’t have one, make sure you get one! Yes, it is that awesome! That being said, I came across a new game that I so want to try out called Order Up!
Order Up! is a game that I know I would love to play on the computer which is why I am so excited. This is my genre that I love to play. The fact that it is Wii game just makes it that much more awesome! The game teaches you how to run a restaurant kitchen. However, you will spend most of your time cooking. You make dishes, manage cooktop stations, and also play manager. You move up in the world too. You start out in fast food and you are able to work up to working in a world class restaurant. The coolest part of this game? It simulates real cooking, so you have to pretend you are using real items like knives, spoons, tongs, and ladles. If you think this sounds cool, you need to watch this Order Up! Trailer. I know it makes me want it even more. Think I can talk Bill into letting me get it if I tell him it’ll make me a better cook?

Yeah! My Tv Is Back!
I have catching up on all my shows that have been TIVO’d all week long. I am so glad that the writers are back! I was getting bored watching reruns that I have seen a million times already. So far tonight, I have watched Criminal Minds, Numbers, and CSI (Las Vegas). It still floors me that on these shows that they can find a fingerprint on, say, a gold bangle and in less than an hour find the killer. I just realized that all three shows are of the same genre — cop shows. Each is very unique and I love to watch all three of them. I am still waiting for new shows of House, Bones, and Deadliest Catch.
What shows are you anxiously awaiting?
Games
If you enjoy gaming (like me), I have the site for you. You definitely need to check out Winter Wolves. They have both mac games and pc games, so there is a little something there for everyone. You can even download mac games and the pc games right to your computer. You don’t have to wait and go to the store. I thought I would try about a few games there myself. One that I really like is TV Station Manager. Here’s what it looks like:

This is one of my favorite kind of games. I am not sure what this genre is called, but you take charge of a job and do it for money (or whatever the prize is). I just love this type of game. It is pretty easy to play. The tutorial walks you through exactly what you need to do. This is definitely an adult game. One of the categories that you can choose for shows is erotic. As an adult, I am okay with that. However, I would not want to have to explain that to a kid. The game played pretty smooth. Your job is to schedule shows and advertisements. You need to make money for the station. I know that it sounds pretty easy, but you have to make decisions that effect everything. For example, you cannot put that erotic show that I was talking about before at 7:00 pm. You also have to be careful to follow the advertisers rules and make sure that you play the commercials enough times a day. You also cannot run out of money. If you have no money for a week, then you lose and go bankrupt.
If this game is this good, I am looking forward to trying a few more. I am looking at around playing twelve more games tonight. Each has a demo, so I can decide what I like before I buy.
