CBS has a new series coming out called The Good Wife which I find very interesting. Rumor has it that it is suppose to take place in Chicago (Hmmmm, could all of our corrupt politicians here have something to do with that? Who knows?).  I’ll be honest, that immediately peaked my interest. The show stars both Julianna Margulies and Chris Noth which are two of my favorite actors. Margulies plays a wife and mother who must assume full responsibility for her family and re-enter the workforce after her husband’s very public sex scandal and political corruption lands him in jail.

I find the premises of this show very interesting in light of all the “affair” scandals we’ve seen in the last year.  It has always floored me that these women “stand by their man”.  Bill and I both have an agreement that if one of us cheats — it’s over.  No questions asked.  It’s done.  This show hopefully will shed some light on why these women stay.
