Pardon Me . . . Do you have any Grey Poupon?

Actually, the question in my house should have been “Could you let me take a picture of your sandwich before you eat it?”. The mustard connoisseur in my house is my husband. However, being a man, he isn’t real picky as long as it works. He was fairly excited though when I told him we were asked to try these Grey Poupon mustard varieties. He was so excited that he did not even allow me enough time to find the camera and take pictures of the two sandwiches he made for himself. Instead, I just took a picture of the two jars, so you can see what he tried.
Bill love the mustard. This is a guy who normally tells me to buy the cheapest thing possible. He actually requested that I pick up Grey Poupon next time I am grocery shopping! I informed him that it would be a little more expensive than the generic we normally by. His response was that he didn’t care, because it was that good. The other observation he made was that the course ground mustard would work better on a ham versus a ham sandwich. He would like the spicy brown variety on either.
Bill gives these two thumbs up. It is hard to get him to give me his opinion on anything, so it was quite surprising when he told me absolutely love these!
Why you don’t send men grocery shopping . . .
I know that Bill tries. He really does. However, he has never went grocery shopping without messing up. He forgot to get a couple things off the list like ground beef (which we eat a lot of in this house) and didn’t buy the snack I need for tomorrow for Madison’s school. I told him cookies or cupcakes. I meant to buy something from the bakery. However, he bought a bag of Chips Ahoy. Needless to say, that isn’t going to work. I really don’t have time to cook something tonight, so I will have to run to the store with the kids and buy something tomorrow. I was hoping to avoid that. He also was suppose to buy frozen boneless/skinless chicken breasts. Instead, he bought fresh boneless/skinless chicken thighs. I know he is trying, but man, he is killing me. I often wonder if he messes up on purpose, so he doesn’t have to go to the grocery store. I guess I can’t complain too much, since he actually did go to the store.
Slowly but surely
It is getting closer and closer to Saturday and the baptism. We now have (hopefully) completed all of the grocery shopping. We still need to clean our bedroom, the basement, finish the kitchen, and the living room. The whole top level needs to be swept and mopped (bedrooms need to be vacuumed). I have a couple of pictures I would like hung. Bill’s suit pants need to go to the dry cleaners. I need to call the caterer and order the food. I think that is everything. Do we have enough time to get it all done?
