Wrapping The Christmas Presents
Yes, that is what I did tonight. I made a list of all the Christmas presents I have bought so far. Then I wrapped each and every one of them. Let me tell you, it feels good to have that done. Bill and I decided that Madison is done for Christmas. I still need to shop for her birthday though (which is Jan. 7th). I also figured out that I am about half done already. I like that sound of that even better! Now, I know who I am looking for gift for on Black Friday! The main reason I did this already is because I need to drop off what I have already bought up in Green Bay. It helps to have them up there early, because we aren’t going back till Christmas. We usually have a pretty full van then, so every little bit of space helps.
Lighters
I have been trying to figure out what to get Bill for Christmas. He is a smoker, so I wonder if some Zippo lighters or some engraved lighters are the way to go. He currently is using one of those plastic disposable lighters that you can buy super cheap or the cigarette lighter in his Jeep. A zippo lighter would look way more professional too. I wonder if he would like something like this:
He is Irish. I could possibly get one engraved with the kids information on it too. He likes poker too, so I wonder if he would be interested in these:
He also smokes cigars, so I could also get him some Colibri Lighters. I seriously hate having to shop for him. I never have any idea what to get him. Last year was super easy when I decided that we were getting new living room furniture and that was our gift to one another.
I found these lighters over at Executive Gift Shop. The prices are extremely reasonable, so if I decide to get him a lighter from either me or the kids, I know where I am going first. Now, if I ever start smoking again, I will have to buy this one for myself:
Cereal
I decided not to listen to Will’s doctor, and I started him on cereal tonight. He is only a week from being 4 months. I am still looking for a pen, so I can write this down. He did awesome. No choking at all. There is a couple of reasons why I did it. First, his doctor had me giving it to him in his bottle, so he does have some experience with it. Second, he wants 6 ounces. However, everything I give him after the first 4 ounces, he throws up and is miserable. I am hoping that this will help him not throw up as much. It didn’t work tonight, but I am sure it takes a little bit of time. Here are a couple of pictures that I took:
