Can I Keep It?
As a mom, how often do you hear this question? At my house, this is a daily question. I never grew up with pets. My husband grew up with a ton of them. Right now, we use to have fish (and we are getting a little fish tank next week). That is the only pet Madison has known.
She asks all the time for a dog or a cat. However, she does ask if we can keep the rabbits, squirrels, ants, chipmunks, and pretty much anything else she sees on the ground. If she’s sees a commercial for an animal on TV, she has to have it. She’ll even go as far as pausing the tv (we have a dvr, so she can do that) to make sure we see it! Yes, I think she needs a pet. However, we are often gone on the weekends which does not make our house too pet friendly. I am also allergic to both cats and dogs (not a bad allergy, but one nonetheless).
What kind of things do your kids want as pets? What do you have as a pet?

Take me back!
I do like being at home. However, I did truly enjoy myself at the Pampers Mommy Blogger Event. Over the next couple days, I hope to be able to write about all I learned about diapers, pampers, and unicef. I remember again why I hate flying though. Actually, I hate little planes. During takeoff, I feel like a couple of corsets are wrapped around my ribs and then squeezed. I guess I could call it a minipanic attack. However, once we land or take off I am fine. If I am in a bigger plane, I don’t have that issue either. I know last night I was missing my huge comfy king bed at the Westin. I walked around in my new slippers that I got (and they are awesome!), but it just isn’t the same.
I Arrived In Cincinnati
I love getting off a plane and being greeted with a sign. It makes me feel, well, important. This is day one of the Pampers Mommy Bloggers Event. I just got to Cincinnati, and its just as hot and miserable here as it is in Chicago. However, I am in an awesome hotel. I can’t wait to sleep, alone, in my king size bed. I think it even has a down comforter. Yes, it is the little things that make me happy. I have to say I was happily surprised with the little gift packs they had awaiting us in our rooms. Lets see, there’s toothbrush, Secret, Olay, Water, sleep mask, loofah, and some awesome slippers that I can’t wait to try on tonight! I have about ten minutes before I have to leave to go take my tour of P & G (that’s who makes Pampers!). I guess this is a tour that journalists don’t even get to go on. After that, we are going to dinner in Kentucky! I can’t wait. I have to remember that I don’t have to inhale my food since the kids aren’t here. That’s what they have planned so far for day 1 for us. Tomorrow, we will be conferences all day, so I am pretty sure I won’t have much time for blogging. However, I am hoping to get a couple pictures tonight, so you can see what awesome company I am with. Well, I have to head off for my tour so talk to you all later!
