TGIF

I swear this has been the longest week ever.  I still need to blog about last weekend, and it is already this weekend.  I think I have been jetlagged all week.  My kids have been driving me bananas, and my house looks like a tornado has went through it.  The bad thing is that we have a semibusy weekend planned and are going to Green Bay for Thanksgiving, so I really need to get this stuff done.  I have all the pictures in Flickr — I just need to blog about it.

I hope everyone has a great weekend planned!

Chiropractor

I have been putting off seeing the chiropractor for a while now. I know my back is out of whack. I had my sister’s friend give me a massage last weekend (she’s a massage therapist). She told me that normally she can’t tell when somebody back is out of whack. However, mine is so bad that she could tell. She figures that 3 vertebrates are out of whack.  I know how bad it is.  Every so often I get pins and needles in my hand and my legs.

Yesterday morning when I got up, I could barely walk.  I definitely know it is getting worse now.  The cool thing is that I found a chiropractor at Fall On The Green yesterday.  I actually met the doctor there.  She was really nice and she has a 3 1/2 month old too.   I actually can’t wait to call.  Plus, if I mention that I saw her at Fall On The Green, my first visit is free.

Gravestone Marker

I figure my Halloween post is a good lead in to my next topic here.  :)   We were up in Suring this last weekend for my family reunion which was held at the old schoolhouse.  Next to this building is a cemetery.  A lot of my family is buried there, so we always try to take a walk through when we are up there.  One of the coolest (yes, I am using that word) gravestones up there has an interesting saying on it.  The guy who is buried there was blind and wrote his saying himself.  This is what is written on his gravestone:

Remember friends as you walk by

As you are now, so once was I

As I am now, you soon shall be

Prepare for death and follow me.

Cool and creepy.  Let me know what you think.  What would you want on your gravestone?
