Fit Flops

No, I did not mispell flip flops. Fit Flops is the actually the name of some new shoes (well, flip flops) that came out. They are really cool. Not only are Fitflops fashionable, they also help you stay in shape. The Fit Flop launched last summer in England and was a huge hit over there. I think they actually might have sold out. The idea behind these shoes is that they are made with micro wobbleboard™ technology which allows you to work out your muscles every time you take a step! It makes your legs look thinner and your butt look better? Who doesn’t want that? It is the perfect reason you can give to your husband/boyfriend/fiance when they ask you why you need another pair of shoes. They come is 5 different colors (black, chocolate, navy, silver, and red), so you can match almost any outfit you have. What are you waiting for?

Will Stuff

I had something really weird happen yesterday.  I gave Will the remote to his mobile to play with while I was changing his diaper.  He was playing with it, and all of a sudden, the boom box in his room (which we use to play classical music for him at night) started playing.  The only thing I can figure out is that his mobile remote turned it on (or my house is haunted).  Anybody have anything like this happen to them?

I also have a feeling that Will isn’t going to crawl.  Instead of trying to crawl, he gets on all fours.  Then he tries to stand with his legs and still has his hands on the ground.  I am hoping you can picture this.  That is how he has been trying to get around today.  It is pretty funny to watch.  He also has been trying to pull himself up on the furniture, so I know it is only a matter of time before he takes off.

My New Flooring

I know. It isn’t Pergo or anything. However, it was much cheaper than Pergo! Can you guess what kind of flooring we now have in the living room? Here’s what it looks like:

floor

Yes, we have a foam floor down over our hardwood floor. I now can lay Will down, and he can play on the floor again. He roles from one side of the room to the other. Every so often, he tries to pull his legs up under him and try to crawl (that will take him a while to figure that one out). The great thing about my new floor is that it doesn’t require me to use vacuum cleaners to clean up messes (not that I was using a vacuum on my hardwood floors anyway).  So what do you think?  Do you want this for your house?  It goes with everything!
