Wine Of The Month

Look what I have here:

We just got some wine delivered from Gold Medal this week. They have a great wine of the month club that you can join. I’ll be honest, we are not huge wine drinkers at my house, so I will be unable to give you a play by play of how exactly it tasted. I just know good or bad. In my opinion, this wine is good. We had both a white wine to try and a red wine to try, and they were both most excellent.

Besides the taste of the wine, there were many things that impressed me by this company. First, I love that the wine came wrapped. Most of the wine we do order is gifts. It is helpful to have it prettily wrapped. I have not seen any other company do this before, and it definitely makes them stand out. You can see that this wine came with a ton of paperwork. One piece of the paperwork is a wine tasting scoresheet. I love this idea! They want to know what you think of the appearance, aroma, body, flavor, texture, and aftertaste. They want to know if your wine was up your standards. I love it. This is a great way to please your customers. Plus, if your customer is not satisfied with their wine, they are able to let them know what exactly the problem was. The wine came very well packaged, so there was not a chance of the bottles breaking. I could have dropped the box, and they still wouldn’t have broke. Another piece of paperwork that was sent was their newsletter. There was a great piece on the owner of the company in there. There was also two really good sounding recipes in there too. My favorite line of the recipe was “two glasses of chardonnay for the chef”. I think I can handle that!

Dirty Sexy Money

Anybody watch the episode last night? It was awesome. I am wondering which of the kids (if any) are not Darlings. My guess would be the twins. My favorite part is the kid that Brian is trying to pass off as a Swedish orphan and not his son. I kept thinking that he was using salt shakers on his food. Instead, it was pepper. There was a comment made at the family dinner about how they never saw anybody put that amount of pepper on their food except for Brian. I am seeing that they are laying the seeds for everybody to kind out that this is really his son.  This show has so many great twists and turns that I can’t wait each week for the next show.

Lexmark Printer

Want to see my new toy?  Well, here it is:

I love it!  Up until my new printer, I had a 4 in 1 HP printer.  However, it was not wireless which was a pain.  I had to spend something like $80 to get a wireless kit.  The bad thing about that is that it plugs into my USB port.  I can’t leave it in all the time, so I tend to lose it.  It always takes me something like 10 minutes to find it which is a pain.

My favorite part of this printer is that is wireless.  It took me around ten minutes to set it up.  It was super easy.  All I had to was pop the disk into my laptop and follow a few easy directions.  Right now, the printer is set up in the kitchen.  I usually work in my living room which is on the other side of the house.  The range is awesome.  Another thing that I absolutely love is that it tells me what percentage of print job it still has left.  It also tells me how much ink I have left.  I always run out of ink at the worst times.  It lets you know the color ink and the black ink levels.  Print wise — It is a printer.  I found it to work as well as my HP did.  If you want to see the printer in action, go check out Wi-FiGuy.

At this point, I do not see any negatives.  It did not come with photo ink, so I haven’t had a chance to try that out.  This printer has everything I need — wireless, scanner, copier, printer, photo printer.   If you are in the market for an all in one printer, this is a great choice!
