I’m Home!
I got home last night around midnight, so I am dragging some major butt today. My goal is to get some posts us this weekend about the Sony Mommy Blogger Event, but I am not sure that is going to happen. I have to apologize that I haven’t been able to answer any comments or anything. They had us jam packed for a couple of days and now I have to play catch up with my kids, do some budgeting and planning with the bills, and catch up on laundry. Tomorrow, we have a birthday party to go to, so that kills getting anything done. Bill has been playing with cameras all morning. I got a couple of good pictures of the kids. I am hoping to get those up shortly too. I just feel like I have a ton of stuff to do and no time to do it in.
Sheryl Crow anyone?
I love when the artists that we know and love come up with new ways for us to enjoy their works. Sheryl Crow is the latest. Bill and I are both fans (yes, even though I do listen to Nine Inch Nails, I do like more mellow stuff like Sheryl Crow). I have lots of great memories of the summer of 1995 and her music (did I just date myself?). When I found out she was working with Soundcheck, we immediately had to go check it out. I have to admit that what they have done is super cool. Soundcheck allows you to get up close and personal with her. You are able to view her live performances and see exclusive behind the scenes stuff. All of this is filmed in HD. She is such an interesting person that you have to enjoy this. I would love to see how she manages to be an A-list superstar and being a mom. Both are full time jobs. She also talks about leaving LA and her new album. It is always interesting to hear what the artists think and feel when they don’t have a PR person whispering in their ear. I hope you enjoy watching this as much as we did.
But I don’t like green juice!
Some days, the funniest things come out of Madison’s mouth. On Friday, Madison was complaining that she was thirsty. I went and poured her a glass of apple juice (which I diluted with water from the kitchen faucets). I gave it to her to drink, and she made a funny face and exclaimed to me that she “doesn’t like green juice!”. I was thinking, green juice? I gave you apple juice that is red. then it dawned on me. The cup that I put her juice in was blue which made the juice look green! Once, I explained that to her, she had no problems finishing if it.
This must be a stage thing, since all of a sudden, she is super picky about her food now. She always is telling me she hates mustard. Yet, she eats it all the time and just doesn’t know it.
