If you aren’t lucky enough to have vision insurance or have vision insurance that will only pay up to a certain amount for your contact lenses, you should definitely check out LensShopper. Now, my vision insurance will pay up to $250 a year for contact lenses. That sounds like a lot, but if you wear contacts, you know it isn’t. That only pays for a couple of months of contacts, and then I pay out of pocket for the rest. My last order of contacts I stilled owed money on after they took the insurance off. That is where LensShopper comes into play. Their lenses are a ton cheaper than what I normally pay for my contacts! They even have even better deals if you order in bulk! I love that it tells me how long the delivery time is and whether or not the contacts are even in stock. Nothing is more annoying than ordering contacts, and then after you place your order, you find out their are backordered. I love that they even make it easy to find the best deals on their site by listing the best deals for each kind of contacts. If you just want to search out your contacts, you can choose to search by manufacturer, lens type, and even popular lenses.
Now, I personsally use the Focus Night & Day contacts. I found on their site that I can get a box for $40.95 (if I order bulk) and get free shipping! I love free shipping! That is a darn good deal for my contacts! I would save almost $40 off my normal order of 6 boxes! I can’t complain about savings like that! If you need contacts, you need to definitely check out LensShopper for all your contact needs!

I love Lands End. They have some of most stylish clothes at a good price. They even have plus size items that look good, so they score 2 thumbs up in my book. I also love that they have a virtual model on their site. All you have to do is put in your height and weight (there are othere things you can customize too like eye shape and hair color). You then can pick up clothing to put on your model, and know how that looks on you. You can exchange out colors, sizes, and pretty much anything else you want. I could literally spend hours just playing with that.
Now, if you are interested in shopping there for yourself or Christmas, use this coupon code:

Okay, I am putting myself on a diet. Ok, not quite a diet. It is a new product called Sensa. I’ll be honest — I’d love to lose about a hundred pounds. However, at this point, I would like any sort of weight loss. My goal is to do an update post each week. If I don’t, somebody clock me upside my head and remind me. Sensa is a product that allows you to eat whatever you want. However, it helps with your portion control. All you do is shake a some of the Sensa on your food everytime you eat, and it does it’s magic.
I weighed myself this morning, so I know my starting weight (no, I am not listing it here) and I took some pictures (well, my mom was here and took them):

So I guess we can call these the “before” pictures. I’ve watched the DVD that came with the Sensa, and it said that some women don’t see a change until 3 months into this. I hope that isn’t me. I am all for instant results. The first thing I have noticed is that the Sensa makes my food taste better. Now, I plan on mostly keeping to my normal lifestyle, and we will see if this works for me. If you’d like to join me on this journey, use ROCKETXL to get 15% off your order (no minimum order either) and you’ll get free shipping too.

I’ve been meaning to get this online, but you know how real life gets in the way! LOL I do have to thank Christine for all the great pictures I am going to be using while I blog about this. I got to Orlando and found out that my camera had died. Right now, it is at Sony to get fixed!
Jeremy Schoemaker was our opening keynote speaker. He genuinely looked nervous to be up there. We were able to learn that in 4 short years he went from a nobody to a somebody. He gave us a lot on insight into his life and how he got to be where he was and possibly what we need to do to get where he is.
Susie Gardner was up next. Her presentation was about content. As a person who has blogged for two years, I personally did not care for her presentation. It was geared towards the beginner blogger, and I have moved well beyond that. I felt like half of us in the room could have given that speech. However, I did talk to some beginning bloggers, and they found her presentation helpful and interesting.
We got to go to lunch from there. We ate at The Globe on Wall Street since it was the least busy. The food was excellent. However, the service was slow. Very Slow. Though, I guess all the places were that way since some of the next speakers weren’t back in time for their presentations. However, we didn’t know that and ended up almost running to get back in time! I definitely did not need any weight loss pills for this trip. That walk/run back to the conference burned off my lunch no problem! In the picture (which Drew took!) is Drew, his wife Allison, Heather, me, and Christine (and yes, in that order).
Next up was the big money bloggers panel and Drew got to moderate it. We got to learn the tricks of how they all got where they are. On the panel was John Chow, Neil Patel, Stephanie Agresta, and Jeremy Schoemaker. This was a very interesting panel. One of the questions was what was your biggest mistake or surprise. The answer that surprised me the most was from John Chow — it was the lengths that Google went about scraping his site from their search engines. He’s a nobody compared to Google, and they went after them the way they did!
Next up was the growing traffic panel with Tony Hung, Lea Alcantara, Brian Clark, Alex Schek, Steve Spalding, and Tamar Weinberg. I’m going to tell you a funny story that you cannot repeat. I was listening to these speakers and was seriously confused. Finally, I leaned over to Christine and asked her what this had to do with what advertisers wanted. She informed me that that was the next panel. Whoops! Needless to say, I didn’t get a whole lot out of this. Being that I work freelance as a social media manager, I pretty much already knew what they were talking about. However, what I didn’t like was that they really didn’t talk about all the networks out there. You can get some really good traffic from sites like stumble, reddit, mixx, kirtsy, etc. Its not all digg all the time. I personally don’t get much traffic from there compared to the other sites.
The next panel was the “what advertisers want” panel. It included Jon Buschlen, Katia Adams, Michael Brito, Sean Jackson, Michael Jenkins, and Randall Richards. It was nice to hear what advertisers were looking for. However, anyone who has done any paid blogging already knew what they had to say. These were advertisers that “get it”. Unfortuntely, there is a whole ton of advertisers out there who do not and want 20 links for $5 and can’t figure out why the bloggers won’t do their opps.
After that, we had Ted announcement. This is when we learned about Cloud Shout, and we got our alpha keys for it! It was an awesome presentation. After that, we went to the hotel to get ready to go out!

If you read my other blog (Lisa Reviews), you will already know that a couple of weeks ago we bought a Wii. Let me tell you, if you don’t have one, make sure you get one! Yes, it is that awesome! That being said, I came across a new game that I so want to try out called Order Up!
Order Up! is a game that I know I would love to play on the computer which is why I am so excited. This is my genre that I love to play. The fact that it is Wii game just makes it that much more awesome! The game teaches you how to run a restaurant kitchen. However, you will spend most of your time cooking. You make dishes, manage cooktop stations, and also play manager. You move up in the world too. You start out in fast food and you are able to work up to working in a world class restaurant. The coolest part of this game? It simulates real cooking, so you have to pretend you are using real items like knives, spoons, tongs, and ladles. If you think this sounds cool, you need to watch this Order Up! Trailer. I know it makes me want it even more. Think I can talk Bill into letting me get it if I tell him it’ll make me a better cook?
