Weekend Update
Well, we got them majority of stuff out of the basement over the weekend. Now, we just have a pile of trash and a few boxes that need to go out. I am calling for the dumpster this week. We are planning to demo the one room that is down there this weekend. Once we do that, we are going to work on our floor plan (I want to add another bathroom down there and Bill wants to add a home office). I want the basement finished by Will’s 1st birthday (June 7th). Besides the above rooms, Bill needs to rerun the electric, we need to rerun the venting, and we need to add drywall. We have a lot of work ahead of us.
We also bought a new stove, but that’s for a post a little later (so I can get a picture).
Will Update
I’m on my way to jump into the shower, but I just wanted to update everybody on Will’s 9 month checkup appointment. They were extremely happy with everything! He is 28 1/2 inches long and 21 lbs. and 14 oz. This means that he grew an inch and a half and gained 3 lbs 6 oz since his six month checkup! He’s a big boy! LOL He’ll be needing some bull bars if he keeps growing at this pace. We’ve got a birthday party later today to go to, but I’ll try and get a picture of him up soon.
Everbody Update
Madison has been fever free all day now!!!! Yeah!!!! She started doing better yesterday, and she is back to herself 100% now. In the sickness of the last couple of days, I also forgot to mention that Will cut his top two teeth. That means, he has 2 on the bottom and two coming in on the top. Woo hoo!!!
Since everyone is doing well at this point, that means Bill and I get to go on our planned vacation! Woo hoo! With the mess of this week though, I don’t have any of my travel supplies back. I mean none of it. Since we weren’t 100% sure if we were going, I didn’t want to jinx and pack. This evening I will have to pack for us. My MIL is coming to our house to watch the kids, so I don’t have to worry about packing for them. I am trying not to get too excited since the day isn’t over and something can still go wrong. (I know, always the pessimist.)
I am hoping to talk Bill into paying for the wireless internet while we are there. Its $40 for the week, and he doesn’t want to pay it. However, I do, so I’ll be an interesting plane flight. So, I may be posting while we are gone or may not be — we’ll see who wins. LOL
