Disney On Ice presents Princess Classics

If this show is coming to your area, this is a must see.  Bill and I agreed — Disney On Ice presents Princess Classics ranks up there with one of the Best Disney On Ice that we’ve seen.  They take snippets of the most popular Disney stories and skate to them.  You could easily figure out which story they were.  Will’s favorite?  Beauty and the Beast.  Will really liked the Beast.  Madison liked Cinderella.  However, she did notice that they didn’t do Pocahontas (though Bill did explain to her that she wasn’t a princess, so that’s why she wasn’t included).  The show was really fun, and they can’t wait to see Disney On Ice Toy Story 3 that will be coming in January!

Disney On Ice!

Since attending a few shows last year, we are definitely Disney on Ice fans! My kids love it and my husband and I can’t complain either. They are really great shows that keep everyone’s attention. If I take less than 200 pictures while we are there, there is something wrong. That is why I have to let you all know that Disney On Ice presents Princess Classics is coming to Chicago! It’ll be at the United Center September 8 – 12, 2010:

  • Wed. Sept. 8– 7:00 PM
  • Thurs. Sept. 9– 7:00 PM
  • Fri. Sept. 10 – 7:00 PM
  • Sat. Sept. 11– 11:30AM, 3:30PM & 7:00PM
  • Sun. Sept. 12– 11:30AM, 3:30PM & 7:00PM+

We are heading to the September 8th show ourselves.  However, I wanted to pass along a great deal to get your own tickets — Purchase a 4-pack of tickets for only $44 (Valid Monday-Thursday and Friday Matinees, excluding holidays) and save $4 on all weekend shows by logging onto www.ticketmaster.com and entering the coupon code: MOM* (Enter Code in the “MC Promotions Box” on Ticketmaster).

Halloween: Masquerade Time!

Halloween: Masquerade Time!It is hard to believe that Halloween is a little over a month away, and it is time to start looking at Halloween Costume Stores again. I remember rushing around last minute last year trying to find a superman costume for Will (As you can see, I did find one!).  This year I am not quite sure what we are making the kids.  I did find some Handy Manny costumes in Will’s size, so we may go with that.  Madison changes her mind from day to day what she wants to be.  Right now, she wants to be a fairy with wings or a princess.  This is very surprising for my house due to the fact she is soooo not a girly girl.  However, she is old enough to decide what she does and does not want to be for Halloween.  She could be asking for much worse, so I am happy with a fairy or a princess.  I think we are leaning towards a princess since last year she was supergirl, the year before that she was Tinkerbell, and the year before that she was a flower.

How do you decide what your kids are going to be for Halloween?
