Cat In The Hat
Madison has decided that Cat In The Hat is her new favorite movie. Why? I do not know. Last time she watched this (which was several months ago), she really could have cared less. We watched this last night and twice today. She talks to the screen. It is pretty cute.
Of all the crap she could be watching, I can’t complain too much. This show is not greatly educational, but it is cute. If you have not seen it yet and you have kids, definitely try it out!

Eragon
Bill just got done reading this book. He actually went and saw the movie first. He then decided that he wanted to read the book. He said it was a good read and it followed the movie pretty well. It did remind him of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. However, it had its own characters and mythology to surround the story.
I now have to decide if I want to read the book. Bill did say it was good. However, I may cheat and just watch the movie. 
UPDATE: He just informed me that he wants the next book in the series called Eldest.
The Departed
The are few movies that I would actually pay to see in the theater. However, The Departed is one of those. Even though Bill and I never found time to go see it in the theater, we did rent it as soon as it came out. I am impressed. I am a person who can guess the ending of a movie within the first ten minutes. I had this one pegged wrong. Heck, I am still trying to figure it out. We had to return the movie to Blockbuster, so I didn’t get to watch it again. I do not want to say too much more about it, so I do not ruin it for anyone who hasn’t seen the movie yet. I do however want to see the movie again and again and again!
