Have you visited the Izea Forum yet? If not, you definitely need to go visit the boards. Why? Well, first of all, they just completely redid them. They have a brand new look. It is a tad different looking than the old boards, but it only takes a little while to figure our your way around there. Another reason to check them out is because of the community. Izea posters are an awesome community to be a part of. These are some of the kindest most caring people I have ever met. Some of us have met in real life, but the majority of us have never seen each other ever. However, if you are having a problem with an opportunity you took, problems with your blog, or even problems at home, there is someone who is willing to give you a hand. For free. I know, it is hard to believe, but it is true. When I was pregnant with Will, there was even a thread guessing when he was going to be born! (I forgot who won that one — Amy, maybe?). All I know is that I have met some of my very best online friends on there. Another cool feature on the new boards is that you can report people if you have a problem with them. Instead of a discussion turning into a flame war, you can get a moderator to put a stop to it and reign everyone in. Speaking of moderators, I am one there, so that alone should make you check it out. LOL. In all seriousness, the Izea forums is your one stop shop for both information and community. Yes, I think almost every post this week is going to be about my trip. This is the first trip I am actually getting excited about. I dreaded the trip to Las Vegas for BlogWorld, and I loved it there. I dreaded the trip to Miami, and that wasn’t too bad either. I thank you guys who told me not to feel guilty, because we are leaving the kids. I think I needed somebody to give me permission to be okay with leaving them. I feel semi-dorky though – I have been watching the virtual tour of my hotel today. I am just trying to get a feel for what to expect. It is all of seventeen degrees here and warm would be nice.

I have been checking out the weather report today, and I am still deciding if I need to find my shorts for not. Depending where you look, I am looking at lows in the 30′s and highs all the way up to 65 degrees. My big problem is that I am not sure if I will fit into any of my shorts (and where they are too). I think I will be going shopping this weekI already know where my swim suit is, so I am set with that. It is just figuring out if I need shorts that is the problem.

We are definitely packing jeans, sweatshirts, and our jackets. Who knows? I may actually start a list, so we don’t forget anything. However, anything we do forget, we can buy there.

Well, my washing machine ultimatum did not work.  Bill’s response?  Go buy a new washing machine.  Hmmm

So does he think I really won’t?  Or does he really not want to deal with it and he really does want me to buy one?  I hate psychology or reverse psychology or what ever you want to call this.

Ever feel the need to throttle your public officials? Please remember that I live in Cook County, Illinois where our motto is vote often. Todd Stroger was voted the Cook County President several months ago (don’t get me going on this one — but let me say I did not vote for him!).

Todd was asked what the biggest challenge facing Cook County. Was his answer the $500 billion budget deficit? No. How about the layoffs that had to occur? Nope. The biggest challenge has been the media. What??!!?? What kind of answer is that????? He is mad because the media has portrayed him in a bad light. Well, let’s see. First, quit hiring your friends and family. Then quit putting them in high paying positions. Then don’t make $20 million in changes to the budget after it has been approved.

All the newspapers did was report it. I guess he’s ticked, because the press didn’t bend over for him.

I just got a bill from a collection agency. Yes, a collection agency. Why am I so pissed? Because this is from my miscarriage last July. I have been fighting this bill since then. My insurance company was suppose to be picking up the bill since it was through the emergency room, so I only should have had a $50 copay. I thought this was taken care off. I have been going back and forth between Blue Cross and the hospital for months. I was told NOT to pay anything until the insurance paid their portion. The insurance paid, and I have been expecting a bill, so I could pay my $50 copay. Hence, the collection letter tonight. Trust me, I was pissed. We don’t need this crap. I can’t deal with this shit anymore. Every time I have to deal with this, it brings all the emotions that come with having a miscarriage back. I called my dad, and he said just to pay it ASAP and it won’t show up on our credit report. This is just crap.
