Icky bugs
When I saw the above bugs casing outside, I almost needed to get a life insurance quote. I wasn’t sure what those things were besides super creepy. I have to thank the Twitter Community, because several of them quickly let me know they were cicadas. We have several bugs and beetles we are suppose to on the lookout for, so I really wanted to make sure that these weren’t those. However, these casings are on our trees and the kids swingset. I hope they go away soon! We already knocked a bunch down and I don’t want to be doing this the rest of the summer.
3rd Time is the Charm
The flu has officially went through our entire family. I threw up Wednesday night. I hope this is the end of this. I couldn’t tell you the last time I actually had the flu.
Good news. We go see Madison’s doctor today. We are going so I can get answers regarding Madison’s hospital stay. I am asking all the questions I should have asked, but was too much in panic mode to be able to think of them. I am hoping that now that Bill and I have gotten sick that this was just the flu, and we don’t have to see the specialist. I’ll keep everyone posted.
My Lia Sophia party will be June 21st. The cool thing that ended working out is that my sister will actually be staying at my house that day. She gets back from her honeymoon the day before. They are flying in and out of O’hare. Anybody know of any good limo services? They fly out the week before at like 5 am, so we are not dropping them off. Wayyyy toooo early. LOL.
I am hoping that we can finally finish tearing out the swingset area and get it seeded this weekend. That was the plan for last weekend, but it kinda got sidetracked.
Well, I’ll probably post again either later this afternoon or tommorrow with what happened at Madison’s appointment.

Puke, Puke, and More Puke
So Madison has a touch of something. It started at 3:00 am this morning and she threw up all over her bed, her floor, and herself. Then about a half hour later, she threw up again. Sooo I ended up at Jewel around four am looking for Pedilyte cuz I knew we were going to have a rough day. All day long she only drank 1/2 sippy cup of the pedilyte and about 5 saltine crackers. I finally gave and just started giving her juice so she’d get something in her system. Well she just threw that up. AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Whatever she’s got, its weird. She’s not running a fever. And when she is not throwing up, she acts just fine. And she’s pretty gassy. I don’t know what to make of it.
So Bill and I are dragging butt a bit today. I need a nap is an understatement. I have a feeling we are in for another long night.
My other complaint for the day has to do with our trash pickup. So Bill and I took down the swingset that was here when we moved in. For those of you who don’t know, it was junk. It was bowing and way too old for her. We also cleaned up all the decomposing wood chips. And cut the lawn. Put all this crap out in the trash and they took NONE of it. The bags we put it in are too heavy. So we have to rebag everything. It sucks.
Well I am done complaining for the day. Hope yours was better than mine.
