Dinosaur Train Giveaway
This giveaway is now over. The winner is Anne. Congrats!
My kids are huge fans of Dinosaur Train, so we were sure to watch the newest television special on August 20th: Dinosaur Train Under the Sea. Instead of taking the Dinosaur Train over land, this time they go into water. They explore the Cretaceous, Jurassic, and Triassic oceans to learn about new aquatic creatures. This new show does not disappoint. The show definitely held my kids attention (and mine too!). I love learning about the new dinosaurs. My kids couldn’t get over that they were going underwater after watching so many episodes on land! Dinosaur Train Under the Sea gets 6 thumbs up here (two from me, two from Madison, and two from Will). The DVD of this really cool show is being released today! It will include eight exciting and whimsical adventures, as well as interactive games, coloring pages, a dinosaur reference guide, and information for parents!
Since we like it so much, I’ve arranged for one lucky reader to get their own copy of Dinosaur Train Under The Sea. Here’s what you need to do:

Why I’m Glad I’m Not Kate
You know, Kate from Kate Plus 8. I like her show. I am happy that it came back. I’m watching the “Inside Kate’s World” episode right now, and man, I’m glad I don’t have her life. (Yes, it’s TIVOd. I missed it when it actually aired). I heard some statements that I have to agree with. Mostly, Angelina Jolie has lots of kids and she’s not a bad mom if she makes a movie. However, Kate does Dancing with Stars or even Kate Plus 8, and she’s labeled horrible. Personally, I give her a ton of great for doing Dancing With Stars. I would have looked as bad as she did if not worse. I just hate how horrible people can be. This episode is really giving a glimpse into her life. I’ll be honest — it’s not something I’d want. People also seem to miss that Jon doesn’t seem to be working, so somebody has to support her kids. You’d think people would be happy it’s not the taxpayers! Instead, they tell her she’s a horrible person, a bad mom, and who knows what else.
As you can tell, I feel bad for the woman. She got thrown into celebrity and I think she’s still feeling her way around it. However, one thing you can’t deny — she loves her kids.

Best Marriage Proposal Ever!
All of the “life flashes before your eyes” scenes were recreations of moments from their life. She apparently had no idea it was a proposal until the final three seconds of the video, while they sat in a theater full of family and friends. It turns out he rented out a theater and invited their friends and family. This trailer played in the midst of some other ones so as not to start out conspicuously.
She did say yes and they do have a child now!
