Halloween: Masquerade Time!
It is hard to believe that Halloween is a little over a month away, and it is time to start looking at Halloween Costume Stores again. I remember rushing around last minute last year trying to find a superman costume for Will (As you can see, I did find one!). This year I am not quite sure what we are making the kids. I did find some Handy Manny costumes in Will’s size, so we may go with that. Madison changes her mind from day to day what she wants to be. Right now, she wants to be a fairy with wings or a princess. This is very surprising for my house due to the fact she is soooo not a girly girl. However, she is old enough to decide what she does and does not want to be for Halloween. She could be asking for much worse, so I am happy with a fairy or a princess. I think we are leaning towards a princess since last year she was supergirl, the year before that she was Tinkerbell, and the year before that she was a flower.
How do you decide what your kids are going to be for Halloween?

Powers Out??!!??
Earlier this evening, Madison’s bedroom had no power, and we were trying to figure out why. The picture to the left is what we think happened. That picture is of Madison’s Tinkerbell night light. Do you see the burn marks? The kids had brought me this earlier in the day, and I never looked at it. Thank goodness that it blew the breaker or we could have had a fire here!!!!
Tonight
I just gave myself heartburn. That’s what I get for eating Doritos at 11:32 PM when I should be in bed. Instead, I am looking for stupid hp camera scavenger hunt pieces. Ok, it’s not stupid. I am. I should be in bed. Madison’s b-day party is Saturday. My family is driving in tomorrow, so the house needs to be cleaned by the time they get here (around 6).
We are making a full out turkey dinner for everyone. I just went tonight and ordered Madison a TinkerBell cake. It is cute. I hope I remembered to buy everything.
I still have to wrap Madison’s presents, sweep, mop, and clean the bathroom (and reclean the living room since they trashed it for the hour I was gone to the store).
