Texting While Driving PSA

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

Have you seen this video yet? It’s the newest PSA to show teenagers (and adults too for that matter) what can happen when you aren’t paying attention when you are driving. I personally think it’s a great video (though it did make me cry — especially when the little girl is crying out “why aren’t mommy and daddy waking up”). I just hope people get the point. This can and does happen every day. People are saying that it’s too graphic. I think it’s the only way to get through sometimes.

The video is a tad long, but I’d love to hear what you all think.

10 Drugs NOT To Take Before Driving

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

This video is not only true but extremely funny (well, I think it is at least). It’s in German (I think), but you don’t even need to know that to get the point. (For those of you wondering, alle zusammen means all together I think).

Dancing Sensation

Friday, February 13th, 2009

This video is absolutely awesome.  I can only wish that when I am in my 80’s I can dance as well as this woman (make sure you watch beyond the first song). Heck, in my 30s, I don’t dance this well!

Corey Vidal: Star Wars A Capella

Saturday, February 7th, 2009

Now, I don’t know how long You Tube is going to keep this video up, so make sure you watch it right away.  It is awesome. If you want to hear the whole story, Read the Cnet article about what Warner Music has done. Star Wars fans will love this. Heck, even if you aren’t a Star Wars fan, this is awesome.

Why you shouldn’t talk to the police without a lawyer present

Saturday, January 17th, 2009

If you are not guilty, you should talk to the police, right?  Wrong!  By watching these two videos that I embedded below, I learned how the police can manipulate what you say and find you guilty of something you may have done!  They are long, but very interesting to see the police tactics.  This talk was given at a law school (I think).  This first video is by an attorney:

The second video is a police officer who pretty much tells you how he gets people to admit their guilt:

So what do you think? Will you talk to the police without your lawyer present?
