My House – The Construction Site
Well, the dumpster got delivered this morning. Tomorrow, Bill and his brothers start demoing the room that is in the basment. They have tear the drywall down and tear the subfloor out. We are suppose to have excellent weather (high of 62). Once that is done, Bill starts on the electric down there. He has to rerun a bunch of stuff, use some splitters, and get rid of all the boxes (I think they are called electrical boxes but I am not sure). Once that gets done, the drainage tile gets put in in the beginning of May. Then we have the drywall and the bathroom that needs to get done.
Well, my plans are to take a picture after they get done tomorrow, so you can see the before and after.

Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is slowly creeping up on us. Have you figured out what valentines gifts you should be getting? Most years, I don’t get anything from Bill. However, he has found some great things at 1-800-flowers that he has sent to me the years he does remember. I have also gotten things from them for my birthday. I also have used their service to send Get Well Soon stuff to people. When you live four hours from your family, it is not like you can just run out to the store and by them something. Their site is super easy to navigate. I love that the picture you see is really what you get. There is no bait and switch. Their stuff looks just as good in person as it does on their website. If anybody wants to know what I would like to get this year, here is a picture:

Isn’t that cool looking? Unfortunately, the hearts are non-edible, but it still is super cool looking. I also like this one:

The vase just looks so cool. I am also a huge rose fan, so this works perfect for me. (Think this is a big enough hint to a certain someone? lol).
All in all, as long as you get your girlfriend/wife/significant other something for Valentines Day, you will make them very happy. 1-800-Flowers just makes shopping for them easy, and you don’t need to leave your chair to do it.
Halloween Express
I am still trying to figure out what to make my kids for Halloween. Madison keeps changing what she wants to be, and if I can, I would like to coordinate their costumes. However, if I can’t, I am not too worried about it. I have been checking out a ton of Halloween costumes to see what would work best for them. When Halloween Express asked me to review their site, I happily did so.
I need easy navigation, and their site provides it. I have been to many sites lately that made me search for the link for infant costumes. I love that they have a link called Baby/Infant. I am sick of finding really cute costumes and finding out that they are only in toddler sizes. Two of my favorite infant costumes are:
Madison keeps telling me she wants to be a witch. I love that I can look under Kids, and they have a witch category. She is also a huge Star Wars fan, and I was able to search by Star Wars.
Another big thing for me when ordering online is the shipping. If you spend over $75 and live within the United States, your shipping is free!
I also love that they have a zip code locater to find the closest store to you. The store closest to me is about fifteen minutes away. After Bill gets home, I know were I am going.
