Come and Play in Memphis!
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Memphis Travel. All opinions are 100% mine.
I am always on the lookout for a great family vacation location. There are just so many places to go, and it is tough when you’ve never been there before. Memphis is one of those locations. When checking out this Memphis-savvy travel guide, I was amazed at all the things we could take the kids to do in Memphis. I’d personally start at the Children’s Museum, then Jerry’s Sno Cone, and of course, we’d have to check out the zoo!
If you are a regular reader here, you know that I am always game for a great contest (which is why I have a contest roundup every Monday). How would you like to enter to win a trip package to Memphis? They have a great contest going where you can! The coolest thing is that they have different prize packages you can win. For me, I hope we win the family package. However, you can also win a package for a couples, for singles, and single & friends! Just goes to show you — there is something for everyone in Memphis! What are you waiting for? Go enter!
Big Top Circus aka My House
Does your home feel like a circus too? I know mine does. There are many changes I am hoping to do in 2009 that will make it even less of a zoo here. First, I am hoping to become more organized. Right now, we have paperwork from one end of the house to the other. Instead of just stacking it and then filing it when I am good and ready, my goal is to actually file it right away. Then I don’t have to worry about losing it. Next, I am hoping to save more. This will be interesting and hard. With Bill’s new car and possible school tutition for Madison, that may wipe us clean in a crappy economy. However, we’ve made it this far. I already cut coupons and if need be, we will start cutting the extras like cable and my daily newspaper. However, I am keeping my hopes and I think 2009 will be a great year!
What are your plans to make your life less of a circus in 2009?
Kiddie Camp
Madison started Kiddie Camp yesterday and had a blast. Mommy loved it too since it is 4 hours. When I drop her off, they get her out of the car, and when I pick her up, they put her in the car. It is great! She was so excited all morning for this, and I don’t think it disappointed. She told me about it all afternoon and what they did. Now, this is 2 days a week (Tuesday and Thursday), and they are going to a play on Thursday. What a memory that will be for her! I think they are going to see Alice In Wonderland. Some of the other field trips they will be doing this summer is the zoo and Chuckie Cheese. The next couple of weeks should be very fun for her!
