Thank a Teacher Day: Monday, December 17, 2012

Please join me today to thank a teacher.

Take some time to express your thanks in a card, via email, or by sending in something thoughtful whether it’s flowers, a favorite snack, or just a card. Ask fellow parents to join you in saying thanks to the dedicated staff at your school.

If you work in media, join hundreds of bloggers throughout the US in recognizing Thank a Teacher Day 2012, created in loving memory of those who lost their lives in Newtown, CT, and in honor of the hundreds of thousands of teachers who would do what they did for your child.

Post this image on your website, share it with your readers and viewers. Help us to reach other parents and grandparents to thank those who love your children nearly as much as you do.

Because those messages of thanks don’t take a lot of time to express but yet they mean the world to those who dedicate their lives to our children.

I personally sent a thank you card to both my kids teachers. I also sent a thank you card to our principal. My kids school not only teaches them — they make them feel loved and safe. And for that, I am thankful.

Teachers everywhere don't get the credit that they deserve. They work so hard to teach the children each day of the school year. Some kids don't get nothing from their parents or others in their family. My hat is off to them with how alot of the kids are now days.

We had Teacher Appreciation week in September, and then we have a week in May to show our appreciation. We are good to our teachers at my son's school… they deserve it!
