The Unlikely Adventures of Mabel Jones

Screen Shot 2016-02-08 at 7.30.26 AMHave you ever picked your nose, eaten it, and then been kidnapped by pirates? When young Mabel Jones unknowlingly committs “The Deed” (also known as extracting a booger from her nose and tasting it), she finds herself swiftly bundled into a sack and carried off to board the ship The Feroshus Maggot in THE UNLIKELY ADVENUTRES OF MABEL JONES by Will Mabbitt, now out in paperback. In the vein of humor that will appeal to fans of Lemony Snicket, Mabel Jones has been compared to “a bit of Monty Python [and] a touch of Capt. Jack Sparrow” (Kirkus Reviews), and is sure to knock readers’ socks off with hilarious snark and fun.

I really like this book because its not for girls or boys. It is really for everyone. It's pretty funny and will keep your kids attention. I've got an 8 year old that it is hard to find things he'll read, and he really liked this book! It get a two thumbs up from me!

Since we loved it so much, I've arranged for one lucky reader to win a copy! Click the image below to enter!
