Tonguespank Spice Company is a Chicago company specializing in making boring food exciting. By exciting, I mean really, really hot. LOL Tonguespank Spices truly spank your tongue. They are flavorful, but man, are they hot. That being said, my husband LOVED the Tonguespank Spices we tried!

The Bourban Blend begins with the sweet aroma of smoky morita chipotle peppers, adds depth and complexity with garlic and bourbon, and finishes up with a slow ghost-and-habanero burn that builds as long as you keep eating it. It goes well on eggs, burgers, veggies… anything that can use a smoky heat. This one was my favorite.

The Citrus RUm Blend has the most tricks up its sleeve. Based on allspice, habanero, and rum, try it on any protein for that “what on earth is this?” reaction you've been looking for. Plus you can put it in cider and hot chocolate!

Bill liked both equally as well. If you like getting your tongue spanked, you will love Tonguespank Spices!

This little company I have never heard of. I adore all small artisanal condiment companies. I grew up in New Orleans where all such things are met with earnest interest and if appropriate aclaim! In our house Siracha Salt would certainly be an instant hit.
