Tools Part II

As I have told you guys before, Bill is an electrical engineer. His brothers and his dad are electricians. That makes him able to do wiring in our home. Anything he does not or cannot do is just a phone call away. Another one of Bill's favorite tools (and I am sure his brother and dad too) is the Klein Kurve Wire Stripper. He really likes the Klein Kurve brand. It is a great brand that stands up to a beating. Bill's tools are several years old and work as well as they did the day he got them, and Bill is not gently with them. I know that unless you are in the electrical field, you probably do not know what these are used for. I know Bill uses them when he is trying to extend the wires in the house. This usually happens when he is rewiring for me or moving outlets. He has to strip the plastic off each sets of wires. That is what he uses this tool for. He then connects the two wires together and rehooks it back up. He used it extensively when he was adding ceiling fans in the bedrooms in our other house.

Wow, that sounds like a lot of work! I don't know if that would be something that I would ever get into. My father does those things. Guys love that stuff I guess. 🙂

That sounded like an advertisement. But I know what you are talking about. My dad works for the telephone company so he knows how to do all that splicing and wiring stuff.
