One of my favorite places to shop online is the store at I'm Super Mommy. My family is large and so is my circle of friends. For a while it seemed like all I was doing was attending weddings for family and friends. Now there are happy announcements popping up on a regular basis in my inbox and mailbox of a baby expanding another family. So, I needed to find a reliable place to get baby shower gifts, dresses for my daughters, and maternity clothes for not only gifts, but myself. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels like this from time to time so I thought I’d share my top 5 go-to sections at the I’m Super Mommy online store.

1. Maternity Clothes / Pregnancy Clothes
I learned a lesson with my first child that one cannot wear sweat pants comfortably throughout the entire pregnancy. Also, I still wanted to look good when I was pregnant! I don't know if it was from the pregnancy hormones or eating all the right foods, but my skin had never looked better and I wanted pregnancy clothes that matched how I felt. That was how I found I’m Super Mommy in the first place. I wanted a maternity dress that wouldn't make me feel like I looked like I wore tents for clothing. They had the cutest polka-dot maternity dress that was cut so it showed, “yes, she's pregnant” but it also hung very nicely around my newly shaped frame. You can also find tunics and a comfy nursing bra in this section of the store.

2. Baby Shower Gifts
Among my family and friends, there has been a baby explosion the past 3 years. I don't even know at this point how many baby showers I have happily attended. I have even thrown a few myself for friend. One thing I absolutely love doing is making the goodie/favor bags for the shower attendees and I really like to do something unique. I mean honestly, who wants another generic bag of candy? I like to give everyone something to really remember the event by and I have found the baby shower gift for guests that gets the most positive feedback are ornaments. As far as baby shower gifts, I personally think you can never go wrong with a crocheted baby blanket as a gift.

3. Baby Quilt
When a friend is expecting a baby, I enjoy putting together a basket plump full of items for the mommy-to-be. I have gotten pretty good at learning which items we all use the most for our little ones. (Haven’t we all?!) I put in onesies, receiving blankets, and I always get a special baby quilt to top it off. My personal favorite right now is the Hello Kitty Quilt. I was shopping for a friend that was having a baby boy when I ran across it. I realize we don't live in a “pink is for girls, blue is for boys” world anymore, but I still decided to wait until I got my next baby shower announcement that someone was having a girl so I could make a basket that included this adorable quilt.

4. Baby/ Kids Heating Pillow
A warm pillow is a wonderful aid for soothing a child. It's also good for achy tummies. The pillow is a cute handmade cotton and felt owl that is soft to the touch and stuffed with toadflax seeds, lavender, and beans. Gently heat in a microwave, then let sit for just a minute and then let your little one hold on his tummy. It has a gentle soothing smell of lavender and comforting warmth. We put ours on the radiator and then at bedtime in the winter months and he's warm and ready to be hugged until our daughter goes to sleep.

5. Girls Designer Dresses
Something I have enjoyed is shopping for my little girl. Now that she's wearing toddler clothing, I really enjoy shopping for pretty designer dresses for her. There are clothing choices for all 4 seasons. My current favorite item they have there is the pink velvet skirt. There are sizes to fit girls from 8 months to age 10. It's soft made from 100% cotton, and I love the lacy edge finish. It's the perfect skirt to pair with a light colored top and some cute shoes. My daughter is in a size 3T, so she's the perfect size to wear my favorite designer dress in the shop, straight out of the 60's is a bright and fun looking with pink and white stripes. When I was showing my daughter some of the dresses I was looking for a birthday party in a few weeks, she immediately pointed to this dress.

My family is all over the world. We have several members in the military, so world travel isn't unusual and normally, I cringe when that shipping charge comes up when I buy something for a relative or friend overseas. My sister-in-law took a teaching job across the ocean, and I thought it would be an issue when she was expecting her first baby. It was no problem to send a baby quilt that I bought her as an early baby shower gift to France. SuperMommy ships anywhere in the world at a great rate.
