Totally Bamboo Cutting Boards

disclosureTotallyBamboowas started by a husband and wife team: he’s a woodworker and she specializes in Chinese brush painting. And that’s why their products are so beautifulandfunctional! They’ve hand drawn each of those designs for the city boards. They researched all of the cities, made sure they spell checked each little neighborhood. It’s so cute to hear them tell the story of how they came up with each one. A lot of love went into each!

As you can see I got the Chicago City Cutting Board. Honestly, it is so nice that I don't know if I'll actually use it as a cutting board. It is so detailed and perfect! Chicago is known for its neighborhoods, and this is a great way to display that. I also love that the serving board also comes with fun facts about Chicago. Did you know that Chicago is the French version of the Miami-Illinois word shikaakwa (“Stinky Onion”) named for the plants common along the Chicago River?

I can only recommend Totally Bamboo. High quality products that really are amazing.
