the one about the american one dollar bill is a bunch of hooey… unless you're using a very old one, or a very recent one. the few dollar bills i have one hand show no owl or spider

    1. Lambert

Actually I would like to tell you that the spider and the owl are the same thing, and they are in the upper right 1 and it is in the left uppermost part of the 1…You would need a magnifying glass to see it, but it is there…That is what I thought also, but I looked for it really hard. Good luck! 😉 🙂

  21. Ann Washburn

  29. Deanna - mommyGAGA

Love these, may come in handy to impress people in random conversation 🙂

  30. Baub

Actually this list isn't completely correct, #10.) On a Canadian two dollar bill, the flag flying over the Parliament Building is an American flag is wrong. The flag on the $2 bill (though there isn't a $2 bill anymore in Canada- but the same applies to other bills in Canada that have the parliament building with a flag) looks like an American flag but is in fact the Red Ensign flag that was used by many members of the Commonwealth before they got their own flags, and constitutions. Many people think it is the American flag because they see in the upper left corner a square- but there isn't any stripes (just the coat of arms).

More about the Red Ensign Flag: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Ensign

  31. Kristine

Canada does not use a two dollar bill anymore, and when they did the flag was Canadian.

  32. Barb

  35. gaga

8.) Two-thirds of the world’s eggplant is grown in New Jersey. is simply not true… i believe china is the biggest producer… anyhow, good list…

  36. Joan maynard

There is no 2$ bill in Canadian money its a coin

  37. hedge

can tell this is dated, New Orleans Saints won the 2010 Super Bowl and they play in a domed stadium

  38. deb

Number 23 is incorrect. “23.) In most advertisements, including newspapers, the time displayed on a watch is 10:10.” It’s actually 2:10.

  39. mandy

John Lennon’s first girlfriend was not Thelma Pickles, but Barbara Baker! He dated Barbara when he was 16 and didn’t meet Thelma until he entered art school!

#66- The official rock song of Ohio is “Hang on SLOOPY”, not Snoopy! Just wanted to clarify as I am from Ohio!

  41. Prof.Mama

These thoughts usually give you sleepless nights!!

  42. Misty

    #22……….it’s “striped”, not “stripped”.

  43. Cheee

The shark one… as it is impossible to “blink” with one eye (that would be a “wink” instead), it could just say they are the only fish that can blink.
