Wednesday’s Hero

CSM Robert Prosser and LTC Erik Kurilla
1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment (Deuce Four)
U.S. Army

LTC. Erik Kurilla and CSM. Robert Prosser's story is an amazing one. One that Michael Yon has told far better than I ever could. Warning. The site contains very graphic images. Some may want to turn off images before viewing.

These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives so that others may enjoy the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday. For that, I am proud to call them Hero.
We Should Not Only Mourn These Men And Women Who Died, We Should Also Thank God That Such People Lived

It's nice to hear when people still care about this. I have one friend that will be going over soon and another that is already there. I'm always worring about them. :/

I might go check out the site.

What an amazing beautiful awesome post. Right on for taking time out of talking (rather brilliantly) about yourself to think of others.

    high fiiiive!

  3. I think you're very right. It takes a special person to be willing to sacrifice themselves for people they don't even know but care about just the same.
