I've been complaining on Facebook about my newspaper. The reason I complain is that we recently went from paying about $6 a week for 7 day service to having to pay $9.99 a week come February. I love having a newspaper. I love reading a newspaper that is right in front of me instead of what's online. Plus, I snip my coupons and I flip through the grocery ads to see what is on sale.
That's where Jewel once again comes to the rescue. When I cancel my paper, I don't have to worry about losing Jewel's ads. You can either head over to their website to view the weekly ad or you can sign up for an email to be sent to you weekly with their ads! You can easily figure out what you need to add to your grocery list that's on sale for the week! You can even print off coupons! (Yes, Jewel will take coupons that you print off your computer. Most stores around my house don't allow computer generated coupons.)
Where do you get your grocery store ads? Do you print off your own coupons?
sigh. i miss shaws (jewel store) in ct. COME BACK please!
We cancelled our paper for the same reason, just getting too expensive. I love that companies like Jewel are offering the option to get their ads in other ways.
I do both. I print some coupons and use some online store coupons. I prefer paper coupons but I’ll use the others too.
We need a Jewel here in the midwest!
Nice to know Jewel has coupons on their site. We too cancelled the paper…it was getting too expensive!
I usually get our store ads inside the store and I purchase newspapers bi-weekly, too. Jewel sounds like the perfect solution though!
I usually get my coupons from in the store… Hadn’t yet gotten off into the online coupons.
I prefer coupons that I don’t need to print out myself. It costs more to print out paper and buy the supplies than to buy a paper with the coupons in it
I do try to look at the ads but no longer have time to do coupons! Hopefully I can start doing it again when my kids get a little bigger.
I do get all of my sales info and coupons online now!
I don’t usually look at the ads but check out addictedtosaving or iheartpublix for matchups for my grocery stores. I do get the Sunday papers (2 of them) for coupon inserts. If I want more papers I just go to the guy selling them on the street corner for $1 each. I do print coupons. I use Swagbucks so I can earn amazon gift cards for redeeming them.
Guess I’m a peculiar kind as I don’t look at sales or use coupons. My husband does practically all the shopping so that is NOT my area of expertise! 🙂 Lucky girl??? I think so!
I get most of my coupons from the newspaper or online. When I can, I like to drive to get the Atlanta Journal and get coupons from it.
I think the last time I read a newspaper it cost a quarter. :-0
I like local papers but I also get coupons online!
I get my ads in the mail. I get a lot of my coupons that way too and print the others
Too bad we do not have that store down here in Florida, sounds like a great place to shop!
I do a couple of different things for my coupons, but lately I have been loving digital coupons. I kinda wish all of the stores I frequent had the digital download option. My Kroger stores have digital download, Friday freebie and I can clip from the website if I want. I also look at my Sunday ads and in-store ads at other stores that I frequent.
I don’t think we have a Jewel Osco around here. I will have to check it out. It is nice to know that you will get your sale papers on matter what.
We don’t have a Jewel around here but it sure sounds like a great place to shop!
That’s great news that you can get to them online! Sad though, that you have to cancel your paper…
Great News. Didn’t know this was possible.
I really like those email reminders which is ironic because I hate email newsletters. However, when it comes to grocery shopping, I have to make an exception.
i love a hard copy of weekly ads to sift through to match up with coupons for my shopping.
