You know it is hard to pass up a book with a good looking cover model on the front, but when you pair that with a story line that includes the Alaska wilderness, hot men, murder, mystery, and a love story you cannot go wrong! Against the Wild (The Brodies of Alaska)by Kat Martin is the book that does all of that and more! This story follows Lane Bishop, an interior designer, who goes to Alaska to help Dylan Brodie renovate and decorate his 1930s fishing lodge and finds herself amidst more than just furniture and color schemes! When strange noises and weird things start happening, Lane is determined to get to the bottom of it all to help the man she is desperately trying not to fall in love with. To top it all off, there is murder and a stranger in their midst.
Against the Wild (aff) is one of those books that is hard to put down. I started reading this book and couldn’t wait to get to the bottom of the mystery of the lodge and find out who the murder really was. Kat Martin really transfixes you with this story line and draws you into the lives of her characters. But the best part is that this book is part of the trilogy of Brodie brothers! I can’t wait to read the next book Against the Sky!
Sounds like a book worth checking out. Thanks!
