I'm not the craftiest person out there. However, there were so many cute ideas to pick from. I went with the stocking for our dog Daisy. (Funny story, before I hung this stocking on our front door – that's where we hang everybody's stocking since we don't have a fireplace – I put it on the coffee table while I went to look for the camera. While I was looking for the camera, Daisy ate the doggy treat right out of the handmade pet stocking! Needless to say, the stocking was a winner! Mom, kids, and dog enjoyed this craft!)

Since we enjoyed creating this stocking for Daisy with a few craft supplies around the house, we will be trying out a few more of these craft! Make sure you enter this sweepstakes to help you in your craft making! Big Heart Coupon Sweepstakes

  6. Dawn

What a cute idea. Why should we be the only ones to get special treats around the holidays?

  7. Jennifer

I love this idea. So MUCH! I always feel so bad when I’m stuffing my face with holiday nom noms and my pooches are just staring at me.

  8. Melissa Pezza

I don’t have pets, but I love this idea. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen my friends’ animals looking absolutely dejected because they couldn’t have any special nom noms.

  9. Debbie L.

Kingers and the granddoggies get gifts each year. I also bae a batch of homemade treats for the holidays. I like the wreath idea – very cute!

  10. Crystal

It’s so much easier to shop for my dog than for some of my relatives. All the pups needs are toys and treats, and he’s content.

  11. Catherine S

These look like great treats. My sisters dogs would love them.

  12. Ronnie

My pup Chispas likes two types of DIY crafts.. one, anything that involves food. Two, anything that involves an object he can pull. 🙂 So if I can figure out how to combine them….

  13. becca

No puppies here but we have kitties and they will get spoiled for sure.

  14. Jess Scull

I’ll have to pick up some of these for my pups stocking! 🙂

  15. Nina Say

What a fun idea! I have always believed our pets need some treats on holidays as well. It isn’t right that they sit and watch us eat a bunch of goodies.

  16. Ann Bacciaglia

We are making homemade dog treats this year. I want to put them in cute tins and give them as gifts.

  17. Lee

My dogs love any and all treats. Except for these hippie dippie treats my mother in law bought at the dog bakery. They were like, gluten free vegan or something like that. Her dog wouldn’t eat them and neither would our dogs. I found that to be hysterical. In general we just buy Milk Bone brand. 🙂

I don’t have any fur babies but I do love this idea. I will have to pass it along to some of my friends with dogs.

  30. Rebecca Swenor

This is a cute story about your dog. When I make cookies my oldest dog steals them off the table one by one when I turn my back for a second. lol I will have to check out the crafts at #TreatThePups. Thanks for sharing.

  31. Tiffany (A Mom's Take)

When I do treat my dog I only give him MilkBone products. There will definitely be something under the tree for our 4-legged family member this year.

  32. Audrey at Barking Mad!

We don’t have a dog, but back when we did, Milkbones were awesome treats! Until we bring another dog into our family, we “treat” the dogs at the local shelter with several cases of Milkbones throughout the year.

  33. Kristin

Thanks for the reminder! I need to remember to pick up some treats for my fur baby!
