In 2007, Bill and I went to New York. We went to see Ground Zero, and at that time, this is what they had up. This is list of everyone who died on September 11, 2001. It was a tad overwhelming to see all of these names. And we will never forget.

Eleven years…and it still hurts.
I've seen that memorial and agree, and can be overwhelming. I remember leaving in tears.

Wow, I bet that was very moving to see that in person. It is surely a day that we will never forget!
That day is so tragic. I too visited the site, at the time I went, it was a hole in the ground and they had just begun construction. It is surreal. It was really hard to wrap my mind around it.
So many names!!! Heartbreaking!!! Thanks for linking up, I have done the same.
We went shortly after the disaster…crushing.
I remember the day it happened like it was yesterday. I was expecting my first child. I had per-eclampsia so I was laying on my side on the couch. It was surreal to see it on TV. I will never forget. I would love to see that memorial someday.
Lovely memorial. Have a happy WW!
It is a day no one will forget.
Just so sad, but the Memorial does a wonderful job at keeping the memory alive of those who died.
Happy WW 🙂
