In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the James Bond movie franchise, the film production company Danjaq LLC (yes, they are responsible for the world’s most famous secret agent) has partnered with Toy State to roll out a new line of toy cars! These cars have motorized driving action complete with working head and tail lights, realistic vehicle sounds and the classic James Bond Theme music! Models available: Aston Martin DBS (Quantum of Solace), Aston Martin DB5 (Casino Royal), Lotus Esprit (The Spy Who Loved Me) and the featured car from the latest installment of the James Bond franchise, Skyfall.
We got to review the Aston Martin DB5. I first have to say that I think I had just as much fun with this car as Will did! I love the quality of this car. It has been dropped a few times here (I swear that Will has slippery fingers, because he drops everything!!!), and you can’t tell! The buttons are easy to press but work with the design of the car so they don’t stick out like a sore thumb. The sounds that come out of the car aren’t annoying either (score one for mom!). Well, unless your son hits the theme song button over and over and over again. Will love that it was motorized, so he could play with it just using his imagination, but it also made it so he would chase it down the hall too.
I can only recommend this 007 toy car!
