It is hard to believe that I'll be shopping for Christmas at the end of this week. (yes, I am one of those crazy black Friday shoppers!). This is the time of year we buy our loved ones gadgets and tech goodies that have to be figured out to set up. Also, having the latest-and-greatest comes a responsibility to protect all of those gadgets, devices, and goodies with reliable insurance coverage. Asurion provides just that, but also adds additional tech help in the form of Asurion Premier Support, a free service for all Asurion customers!

Partnering with the country’s leading wireless carriers, Asurion is the leading provider of connected life services, which includes device protection on all your favorite electronics from cell phones, tablets and laptops to gaming consoles and speakers. They solve everyday problems with expert technical support and advice and don't make you feel stupid when you call to ask a question. I used Asurion Premier Support for a problem that we were having at my house that was driving me absolutely insane. Bill just got a new phone for work. He went from an iphone 4 (not 4s but a 4) to a 6s. He finally has better tech than me! However, when they moved everything over to his new phone, we started having an issue. All of his phone calls he made throughout the day (and since he basically works out of his car that meant at least 50 calls a day) were showing up under my “recent” phone calls on my phone. I couldn't find the people I called or who had called me! I couldn't tell who called and whose calls I missed either. It also looked like I was calling myself when I called him. Yes, it was driving me insane, and we couldn't figure out why it was doing it and how to make it stop. That's where Asurion Premier Support saved me! I was able to talk to them and get the super easy fix to my problem. All I had to do was go into Settings, then General, then Handoff and Suggestions and turn off the Handoff. Problem solved! I've been driven insane for 2 weeks for this easy fix! I can tell you that Asurion Premier Support saved my sanity! Now, I have a router I may need them to help me with . . . . . .

Using Asurion Premier Support helps shorten the learning curve so that people are up and running on new devices without any frustration. Go ask your mobile carrier to learn more:

My country is one of the top gadget users in Asia. We sure could use a service like Asurion here in my country. I think it just has to be priced right.

This sounds like a wonderful service. I generally ask my husband or Google the answer when it comes to figuring out technology. I might have to give them a call too. Our home router messes up frequently.

Good info to know. I shudder when I think of how much personal information we have on our phones and how dependant we are. It’s so pricey to replace any of these devices that insurance is really important.

I’ve never heard of Assurion before, but I like that they work with Verizon. But I like that its like extra insurance for the things you probably use most.

I can’t believe my MOM is finished Christmas shopping and I’ve only just started. I feel like it’s a struggle this year trying to figure out what to get people – even though I know I know… it is the same time around every year. It’s still hard! I wonder if Azurion is in Canada yet?
