5 Ways To Live To Your Full Potential

You are currently viewing 5 Ways To Live To Your Full Potential

Who needs a few life hacks to help you live to your full potential? I know this is a topic that many of struggle with especially with everything going on in the world. We live in a crazy time with so many distractions. I hope this list will allow you to live to your potential and give you a much more fulfilling life.

1. Have A Plan

Unfortunately, things don't just happen. We all need a plan on how we are going to achieve our goals in life. If you always wanted to work for NASA, you have to plan on how to do that — what are their job openings, what skills do you need, is there classes you need to take. This is how you set yourself up for success verses failure.

2. Schedule Yourself

Life can be overwhelming. Making lists allow you to see what you have to accomplish each day. Your time is just as important as everyone else's. It will let you know if you have time to take on another class or to make cookies the school bakes sale. It is also okay to say “no” if you just don't have time. This allows you to not overbook and over stress yourself.

3. Positive attitude

Repeat after me “I can do this” and “I am worth it”. If you don't believe in yourself, no one else will. You can be happy and live your life to its fullest potential, you just have to believe it!

4. Take a break

A break allows reflection. A break allows you to not burn out. You have to take the time to recharge your resources, and see the big picture. You can't enjoy life if you are only reaching for the next best thing.

5. Enjoy your life

Once you get everything you want, enjoy the moment. Enjoy that you have met your goal. Enjoy your life. Don't let that pass you by in this busy world.

The Space Nation has launched a Astronaut Program app that will teach essential life skills for people who want to improve their lives (physical and mental wellness) and learn more – in a fun game-like way. The also want to know by filing out this Space Nation survey how you live life to your fullest potential (and you can win a Samsung prize pack for doing so!). How are you currently living life to its full potential? Is there things you can improve on? Is there anything I left out?

An Astronaut Program App that teaches life skills is awesome. It always feels great when I crush a goal that I’ve been working on and it’s important to take a break and enjoy the accomplishment.

Great tips! I’m currently laid off and with the number of interviews I’ve had, and then the corresponding rejections, the “I am worth it” feeling becomes a struggle.

Yes, I find taking breaks is so important. If you don’t, you can lose your mind, and that’s not helpful at all.

I couldn’t agree more on this. I guess taking a break means rewarding yourself and be able to destress and recharge. Having the positive attitude as a hobby as well to be able to live by it is also necessary for every person.

There is nothing wrong with working hard to secure your future, but I should always remind myself that there will be no future if I work myself to death. I really need to take those breaks and enjoy life once in a while.

I have a hard time doing this also.

Great advice! I think the best thing that worked for me is to set a schedule. I don’t do well with multi-tasking. I end up with a gazillion tasks all half done. Taking a break is essential too. It does not necessarily mean a vacation. Just a walk, window shopping at the mall or watching a movie at home. Even a long, relaxing soak in the tub is enough for me to relax and rejuvenate.
