7 Reasons To Go On A Disney Cruise

Why should you go on a Disney cruise? As many of you know, we were able to go on a cruise earlier this year. I was nervous about it since we had never cruised before. Needless to say, my fears were unfounded. It was one of the best times I got to spend with my family. It is something we continue to talk about months after we have done it! Here are 5 reasons you should take your family on a Disney Cruise!

1. Oceaneer Lab and Club/Edge

This makes #1 because my kids LOVED these places. Will spent his free time in the Oceaneer Lab and Club while Madison was in the tween club Edge. Will was mad every time I had to pick him up, because he was having so much fun. He made new friends, he ate dinner in there one night, made crafts, and he just absolutely loved it in there. We had to check him in and out, so it was really safe. Now, Madison went to Edge which is the tween club. They had activities but are allowed a bit more freedom. She was able to check herself in and out. We also used the “wave” phones that Disney provides. We just called her when she needed to come back to the room.

2. Adult Only Areas

While the kids were having a blast, us parents did too! The trivia night and the game show was awesome. They did an excellent Newlywed Game that we all enjoyed watching.

3. The Shows

Every night there was a different show. We totally enjoyed each one, and they really were for everyone.

4. The Movie Theaters

There was Disney movies playing in the theaters on the ship at all times. You could totally spend the entire time watching movies if you wanted!

5. Castaway Cay

Did you know that Disney has their own island? It was awesome. We signed up for a few of the activities like feeding the stingrays. I have the best story from here.

This is why I love Disney so much. I went to the bathroom at Castaway Cay and left my phone in there. I walked out, looked at the map, and realized my mistake. I went back in and my phone was gone. I had a heart attack and then the attendant walked back in. I told her what happened and she already had walked my phone to lost and found. Only at Disney would my phone be found, but my drivers license, cash, and credit cards were in my case. They were all there. Disney is truly magical!

6. The Food

You will eat like kings on a Disney cruise. The food was amazing and you could order as much of it as you wanted! It was soooo awesome. Dinners also usually came with some sort of entertainment too!

7. It's Disney.

Disney does not allow you to have a bad time! You will have an amazing time! They really have something for everyone!

Have you been on a Disney Cruise before? If not, do you have any questions I can answer?
