The All American Jump and Jive Jig

A great way to celebrate the 4th of July has to be the The All-American Jump and Jive Jig. This book is about taking a dancing journey across America.  Both my kids love the witty rhymes in this book, and they love making up their own dances for each of the areas.  You’ve got the Maine’s Rockland Sock Hop, the Michigan’s Mackinac Milkshake, The Boston Tea Party, or even the Midwest Wiggle!  This is just a couple of the fun dances in this book!  I love that even if your kids can’t read, the illustrations tell the story for you.  They also can figure out the dance just from the pictures!  The All American Jump and Jive Jig is a great geography adventure!
