Back-To-School Fall Redecorating with Renuzit Giveaway

Even though it is almost 100 degrees here in Chicago, we are heading into fall. My kids are back to school, and it is time to start getting ready for fall. Now, we all can't buy new furniture to redo our house with the changing of the season. Instead, I decided to do something different. I redid all of our rooms with Renuzit Cones (which you can get at Walmart, Kroger, and Target. You can see my whole shopping trip here: https://plus.google.com/photos/112281789060322139278/albums/5921601166626158481)!

Let's start with my bedroom.

Tahitian Breeze went into our bedroom. Our bedroom use to smell like sweat. (I swear I live with the human furnace. The man sweats. A lot.) Tahitian Breeze is the perfect light sent to take me away while relaxing in bed. It actually makes me want to spend time in there, because it smells so nice. Granted, it isn't a new bedroom set or mattress, but it's the next best thing!

Let's move onto the living room.

I added the Renuzit After the Rain on the bookshelf in my living room. The white offsets the black bookshelf and literally adds to my decor. My living room usually smells like our dog Daisy. Needless to say, I am loving the After the Rain Renuzit Cone. The only way I can describe the scent is fresh. It makes me want to spend time in here, because it just smells clean to me! The fact that you barely notice it in my decor because it just fits is the added bonus! It just makes the living room all the more inviting! (Just so you know, the Renuzit Cone will not stop Daisy from jumping up and licking you to welcome you. I can only redo so much. LOL)

Onto my basement (aka the mancave aka my second living room):

Simply Vanilla went into our basement. I thought it looked awesome on the piano. Since it is a basement, it can smell musty down there. Simply Vanilla Renuzit Cone is definitely all you smell now. I truly loved that it wasn't an overwhelming vanilla scent. Sometimes vanilla can literally knock you over with how strong it can be. However, that isn't an issue with the Simply Vanilla Renuzit Cone. Again, this is another inviting scent that makes you want to spend more time in this room!

The last room I redecorated with Renuzit is in my kitchen:

I spend the most time in this room, so I picked Hawaiian Oasis for the kitchen. My kitchen often times ends up being my work area. It is also the kids homework area. This needs to be a room that smells great and help us to get away from the work (or homework) on hand. Who wouldn't want to be on an Hawaiian Oasis? I placed the Renuzit Cone Hawaiian Oasis next to my Esio machine (which ironically you can get at Walmart too!). We use the Esio all day long (it makes coffee, juice, sports drink, and lemonade), so we are constantly get close to this awesome air freshener.

The other thing I love about all of these Renuzit scents are that they aren't too strong. Bill is super sensitive to smells (shopping with him in a store that has perfume is pretty funny. He literally holds his breath through the perfume section so he can breath later.). However, he has no problem with the Renuzit's I've got placed all over the house. It is a light scent that literally
redecorates your room and makes it all the more comfortable.

Lastly, I totally love how easy it is to smell each home (aff) fragrance without opening the Renuzit Cone. See that arrow? Just put your nose to there in the store, and you can easily find the best air freshener for your home (aff)!

I do have to tell you about a fun thing that Renuzit is doing with the Scent Gents on Facebook. “Scent Gents” is a bio page on Facebook with info about each scent and the gent associated with that scent. Enjoy looking at that eye candy and don't forget to vote for your favorite scent!

Also, I want to make sure you all know about the RenuzitRendezvous contest. You have the chance to choose a trip to one of the exotic hometowns of the boys from above. Each getaway is inspired by one of the incredible scents. One person will WIN the Renuzit® Rendezvous of their choice for themselves and 3 (aff) friends. Also, each week, 2 (aff) people will win a Prize Pack inspired by one of the Scent Gents hometowns and 12 FREE Renuzit® cones. Pretty awesome, right?

When I was in Juneau with Josh, I got some of those Renuzit solids (about $1.00) for his dorm room, closet and bathroom. We got the clean cotton (or something close to that) and Josh says it smells good without being overpowering.

Camille, it may still stink with 3 young men, but it’s a ‘clean cotton’ kind of funky smell!

The fall scents are the best because they are usually spicy aka pumpkin spice! Thanks for sharing this!
