Back To School With MasterLock

1500eDBX_White - HI RESIt is hard to believe but Back To School is right around the corner. My kids start school on August 22 with Book Bill Day on August 12 (that's the day we have to pay all our school fees). Everybody is getting their school supplies and getting ready for when school starts. Did you know that college freshmen spend an average of $281 of their back to school budgets on electronics? The scary thing is that electronics including cell phones, iPods and laptops are the most commonly stolen items on college campuses! I don't find that all that surprising, since those were the types of items that disappeared back when Bill and I were in college. However, MasterLock has so many more cool products now than they did back then (and I'm not even that old!).

Of all of MasterLocks products, one of my favorites is the dialSpeed Digital Combination Lock. Since expecting my kids to remember their combination is impossible (since I can't even remember my own PIN number for my debit card), I love this lock. It offers ultrafast entry and features an electronic light-up keypad with a unique online Backup Master Code that users can retrieve from masterlockvault.com. It also stores multiple resettable guest codes. It is also pretty snazy looking. A few of their other back to school products include the SafeSpaceā„¢ Portable Safe, SafeSpaceā„¢ Laptop Computer Lock, Speed Dialā„¢ Set-Your-Own Combination Lock, Set-Your-Own Combination Locks, and Master Lock Vault.

Master Lock is having Twitter Party on August 6th at 8 PM EST that will be hosted by @ResourcefulMom.Ā The RSVP link for the party can be found at:http://resourcefulmommy.com/12613/master-lock-back-to-school-twitter-party-tablet-giveaway/

Master Lock is the worldā€™s largest manufacturer of padlocks and related security products, providinginnovationsecurity solutions for home, automotive, campus, power sports, bike and storage security needs since 1921. I know I can trust them to keep my and my family's belongings safe. I love how innovative they have become and I gladly will use any of their products!

  1. Thatā€™s amazing that the average college freshman spends that much on electronics. Definitely smart to keep them protected and locked.

What a great idea! I remember having nightmares about being late for class and forgetting my combination, lol. This would definitely help that problem!
