BellyBar Review and Giveaway

This giveaway is now over. The winners are lea, Kimberly Ripley, and Keitha. Congrats!

BellybarShakes_Group_ChocolateAs moms, we are always on the go. That is why NutraBella designed a line of foods specifically for moms to use before, during, and after pregnancy called BellyBar. To be honest, I think this is the only line of snacks designed specifically for moms. They also under that we have cravings that we would like to fulfill with healthy foods. For me, I craved chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate.

They have several products that fulfill my chocolate cravings. My favorite are their shakes. I swear that they taste just like a McDonald's shake except these are way healthier with a boost of fiber, protein, calcium and Omega-3 (aff) DHA. The milk used to make these shakes also does not come from cows treated with rBST. I also have to admit that Madison loves these, because I find her sneaking them. They also have “chews”. These are bit size candy. We tried the citrus and the chocolate. I like the chocolate better. This is another great way to relieve my chocolate cravings and get a healthy, portable snack. We also tried their bars too. These bars have 800 mcg of folic acid, so this is a great way to increase your intake of folic acid! They have lots of great favors like Mellow Oat, Burstin Chocolate (my favorite of course), Baby Needs Chocolate (my second favorite), and Berry Nutty Craving. My kids like snacking on these too.

I love that a company looked at us moms and designed a good tasting, portable, and healthy product for us to take with us while we are on a the run. This is exactly what moms need which is why I have arranged for 3 (aff) winners to receive 2 (aff) bars of each flavor (Baby Needs Chocolate, Berry Nutty Cravings, Mellow Oat and Burstin' Chocolate), 1 pouch of each chews flavor (Chocolate Cuddles and Citrus on Board), and 2 (aff) shakes of Due for Chocolate Bellybar Shakes! I have one word for you: YUM!

  1. I closest place for me to get these is at Babies R Us. I see them there all the time and I want to try them so bad!

  2. I had no idea that Flaxseed was so good for you! I learned this on the Bellybar website. i'm going to go find these products at my local Walgreen's.

  3. The Due for Chocolate Shake sounds YUMMY! I have such awful morning sickness and I am sure this would help!

  4. I learned that BellyBar contains nutrients essential for pre-conception! I'd love to give the prize pack to my best friend who just found out she's pregnant with twins. Yikes! Thanks for the chance to win!

  5. I found that there are several places near me to purchase these. I'm going to look for them next time I'm at Target. Thanks!

  6. My favorite flavor would be the citrus chews. I'm eating a LOT of citrus at the moment, and they sound delicious!

  7. Always been a sucker for chocolate, and I've had the Berry Nutty Cravings, so I think I would love to try the Baby Needs Chocolate, because well, I do! (wait, am I the baby?)

  8. (This is a note, not an entry.) I just received my Spark confirmation an it said my username was dontaskme22 at yahoo dot com, which is my email. I thought it was HeatherSphere. So when you confirm my entries, please note that I gave the wrong unsername on accident. Thanks!

  9. This would be wonderful for my friend who is expecting a baby, I love how tasty yet nutritious the Belly Bars are!

  10. The chocolate cuddles belly bar chews would be the first thing I'd try. The omega-3's in them are really appealing to me.

  11. I laughed when I read the part about the McDonald's shake because I once left one of those on the counter for a few hours and then went back to dump it out and it was still in a solid form. It grossed me out and though I used to love them I can't get that image out of my head. Glad to hear something good for me tastes the same. I will def try it.
