What is your biggest laundry odor challenge?

Tide Simply Clean and Fresh cgi artworkWhat is your biggest laundry odor challenge? In my house, it is my husband. The man sweats. A lot. And by a lot, I mean the man sweats all the time. He can take a shower at night and still need to take one in the morning when he gets up or he'll be a greasy mess. It doesn't take much to make him smell (because you know that follows the sweat!). On top of that, Bill spends a ton of days on construction sites. (He's an electrical project manager.) Need I say any more about how stinky our laundry can be?

That's where Tide steps in. Tide Simply Clean & Fresh is a new detergent from Tide that provides superior odor removal and puts the fresh back into your clothes. It has 2 (aff) times the cleaning and odor fighting power of the leading detergent with baking soda. It is formulated to deliver a clean that starts at the source of odors. It removes the particles that cause odors from the fiber of your clothes. It comes in two great scents: Refreshing Breeze and Daybreak Fresh. Best of all, it is compatible with HE machines (that's what I have!).

My opinion? This stuff works! Tide Simply Clean & Fresh provides superior cleaning and odor removal and puts the fresh back in clean. Seriously, you can't smell Bill's, well, stinkiness! Plus, I really like the scents (I'm a scent girl myself). Tide Simply Clean & Fresh worked in my house and I'm sure it will work in yours!

What laundry odor challenge do you have in your house thatTide Simply Clean & Fresh can help you with?

Hubbys work clothes are horrible in the summer. Working outside all day is hard on the nose when he gets home.

  3. Cinny Wong

lol…hmm…not so much the odor that’s the issue, getting it done…haha

  4. My biggest laundry odor challenge is vomit. That nasty smell just lingers.

  5. Dria

    My dogs bedding for sure!

  6. Dawn Lopez

Hmm, this is a great question. Can I say .. all of it? My son is very active and gets very dirty! Not fun!

  8. My hubby’s bike clothes are the worst! He bikes 3 to 4 times a week for 2 to 4 hours each time and he SWEATS!! And yes getting rid of the odor is a challenge …

We are definitely a Tide fan. We’ll have to check out the yellow bottle!

  10. Donna Chaffins

Laundry is the bane of my existence. 🙂 My laundry challenge is more stains from my son, than odors, though.

Definitely my twins! They leak through diapers, get food all over them…yuck!

  13. My hubby’s work clothes smell like the chemicals in the manufacturing plan the works in. 🙁

  14. Beeb Ashcroft

This sounds awesome – for me I’d say the biggest challenge is probably rags, since I mostly use those over paper towels and I’m pretty uptight about sanitizing them, LOL!

  15. Beth

Getting the laundry put away is my biggest challenge.
It would be great to know it smells clean when it finally gets away!

  16. MommaDJane

My biggest laundry challenge is my fiance’s hockey gear. Ice hockey is one smelly sport.

  17. Tracie

Oh yeah. My husband is a tree surgeon, so his work clothes are always bad. We use Tide, too!

  18. Lenze

My husbands socks. Yuck! We actually switched to Tide because of him. lol

  19. Pam

My biggest laundry odor challenge definitely comes from my pets! Or when my husband and son work with the sheep. Sweat+wet wool is not a great combo.

  20. robyn

My biggest laundry challenge is my messy 6 year old! I love Tide and this sounds like something I may try this Summer for stinky little boys clothes.

  21. HilLesha

No odor issues, but I do hate laundry with a passion! 🙂

  22. Amy

My son’s poopy pants are my worst laundry issue these days!!

  23. Kay M.

I have two teenage boys who are very into sports. They smell awful when they come in from playing outside!

  24. Anne

My kids create piles and piles of laundry, and I have no idea what half the stains on the clothes are!

  25. My son’s baseball clothes STINK beyond stink. They are awful! I need something that can tackle that.

  26. Hmm, with four kids I would have to say it’s all the mystery stains that are darn near impossible to get out!
    Love tide products!

  27. Maria Oller

We used to smoke and now some blankets and clothes smell like smoke I’m definitively gonna try.

  28. Mommy2jam

I have three boys, I have to just choose one? LOL don’t even get me started on boys, odor and laundry. LOL

  29. Shell Feis

I have a newborn and he creates enough odor for all of us! I’ll have to try this.

  30. Debbie L.

Laundry in general! I hate doing laundry – I guess the worst issue is a stain I did not treat right away! Hard to get clean!

  31. Liz Mays

I think the hardest odor to remove is body odor. Even with deodorant, when my son worked outside all day and sweated so much, it really used to get embedded in his shirts. You couldn’t tell unless you did the sniff test, but I wanted it all out!

  32. trisha

Well yesterday my biggest challenge was that someone put a FULL DIAPER in the washing machine. Its as bad as it sounds.

  33. Raijean

I love this stuff because it gets out all the stains the boychild manages to get on his clothes…sigh

  34. My husband’s workout clothes! Ew! I haven’t found anything that works really well so I’m going to have to try this. Fingers crossed.

  35. Shanna

I’m going to try this for my dog’s bed. It gets really stinky!

  36. I had to laugh a little Poor Bill. But honestly he could be all of our significant others. Let’s face it men do not sweat pretty. I on the other hand glisten pretty but love Tide. Great review 🙂

    1. Lisa

      **giggle** glisten pretty. me too.

  37. There’s nothing quite like the smell of FRESH laundry, but then we have to FOLD it! YUCK!

  38. Lexie Lane

I’m willing to try these. I just bought their new color brand but if it helps get rid of smell, then that would be great, especially for our dog’s bed. I don’t know how she can get it so stinky!

  39. Emily

The only challenge I have is forgetting the laundry overnight- then I have to wash it again because it stinks!

  40. Cara

My husband for sure! This new Tide looks like a great detergent.

  41. Danielle

Laundry is my nemesis, hands down. With three little ones, I can barely keep up!

  42. yessi

My two year old poop accidents…ahh!! just thinking of it…yes I can easily throw it away but it can get pretty expensive..why are kids undies so expensive!! (that’s another topic) anyways I tried this new detergent (I like to use natural and eco friendly products) puretergent actually takes off all stains and smells its amazing. Right now Jewel Osco has a back to school sale buy one pouch get one free or you can buy it online puretergent.com Love the eucalyptus smell for white and dirty clothes and their lavender formula for colors so they don’t fade.
