Continued from A Blogger's Vegas Interesting Adventure At Blogworld
Leaving BlogWorld behind, I boarded the monorail to return to the hotel. Having been to Vegas on two previous occasions, I eagerly looked forward to experiencing the monorail this time. It had not been available during my prior visits. While much walking is still required, the monorail is a valuable means of getting around. The ride on the monorail concluded at the Hilton, from where I continued my journey on foot to reach my actual lodging.
Interestingly, the place I stayed wasn't your typical hotel; rather, it was a Hilton timeshare. Now, you might be wondering, what exactly is a timeshare? Essentially, I arranged to rent a condo for the duration of my three-night stay (to be precise, it was a single condo for all three nights).
The accommodations were exquisite. I relish staying in places that outshine my own home (aff), and this room did not disappoint. The indulgence of a king-size bed all to myself was a highlight. Given that I was staying there, I opted for the studio configuration. However, had Bill been accompanying me, I would have definitely opted for the one-bedroom setup. This choice would have spared us the challenge of being in close quarters and potentially driving each other to the brink of frustration.
Once I settled in, I rendezvoused with fellow bloggers for a meal at a German establishment nearby. Regrettably, I can't recall the restaurant's name, but kindly inform me if anyone present remembers it. Unfortunately, I don't have the place's name at the moment. I managed to snap a few pictures, although quite a number of them turned out rather dim, so I appreciate your patience as I share them.
I realized later that I forgot to capture a photo of the impressive beer served—large enough to rival a liter of liquid! Despite the lengthy dinner duration, the evening was enjoyable and provided a delightful opportunity to connect with everyone present.
