Brett Favre Retires!

As most of you know, I am from Wisconsin. More specifically, Green Bay Wisconsin. My parents live close enough to Lambeau Field that you can actually walk over there. Imagine my surprise, when I just heard that Brett Favre has retired. The story is over at NFL.com, so I am pretty sure it is true.

He retires with 5,377 career completions in 8,758 attempts for 61,655 yards, 442 touchdowns and 288 interceptions. He also has the following records: consecutive regular-season starts (253 games and if you are add the playoffs, you are looking at 275 games), most touchdown passes, most yards passing, and most career victories by a starting quarterback

We wish you well Brett!

I don't know much about all of those passes and completions, touchdowns, and interceptions… However… I know he's so cute and sweet and smart and I will truly miss watching him on the NFL… I don't even know much about the game. I always like to know about the players and what they do in their personal lives.

Brett happens to be one of my all time favorites to follow in sports! I wish him well too! Do you think it will stick this time??? Retirement??? Didn't he do this once before?

Wouldn't it be funny if at his press conference he says "just kidding"! Don;t think that'll happen.
