New York Media Works’ first book, Bubblegum Princess is inspired by Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince Williams’ fairytale romance, and a reallife gum chewing incident at the Prince’s Sandhurst passing-out ceremony in 2006. (I have to admit I love this little tidbit of history for this really cute book).
This book follows the life of Katy who loves bubblegum. She loves to blow bubbles. Her family gets an invite to palace to meet the Queen and Prince Will. (My son loved that the prince had the same name as him!). Whilte at the palace, some bubblegum hijinks cause Katy’s family to be banish! However, Katy didn’t blow the bubble! Katy gets to the bottom of the myself, and they all end up having a great day of fun.
Bubblegum Princess is a really cute book. It’s got a really great story and pictures. It is also very pink — like bubblegum!
