California Flowers

I have a husband who never ever sends flowers, so when I get some, I love it!  He’s also one who you have to hit over the head if you want something, because he does not take hints very well.  I basically have to straight out tell him if I want something if I am to get it for my birthday or Christmas. (Though according to a recent survey conducted by the CCFC, they found that 42% of women don’t receive flowers as often as they would like, so I guess I am not alone.)

The flowers up above are California Flowers.  These are some of the best flowers I’ve ever received.  They came in a box taller than Madison (who is 5!).  Not only were they beautiful and colorful, but they lasted a lot longer than any store bought flowers I’ve ever gotten.  It was such a full boutique too!  I also got some hint cards that in some not so subtle ways tells your significant other you’d like some flowers.

Did you know that 75% of all US grown flowers come from California? However, they account for only approximately 25% of all cut flowers actually sold in the United States. The remainder is imported from South American countries. Did you know that California’s cut flower industry generates $10.3 billion in economic impact for the State of California (and we all know how much California needs help with their budget this year!). The cut flower industry also generates over 121,950 California jobs and $3.3 billion in wages for other industries.

Now, if you want your hubby or significant other to send you some of these awesome flowers, I have arranged for anyone who wants (you do have to have a US address) to get some hint cards mailed to your house, so you can start putting down your own hints.  All you have to do is tell me your interested in the comments of this post, and I’ll email you for your address!
