Before the Chicago Open Air Festival even started, they had an amazing preshow that anybody could go to at Concord Music Hall with feature performances from OTEP, Shaman’s Harvest, Islander, & Through Fire. Concord Music Hall is conveniently located between the neighborhoods of Wicker Park and Logan Square at 2047 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL 60647. It is a venue I’ve not been to before, and I can tell you we will definitely go back. Great sound, great venue, not much more you can ask for. The bands were amazing. I had never seen OTEP before and I think I may have found my new girl crush. The lead singer of OTEP is absolutely amazing. Here are a few shots I got of the evening:

Needless to say, an amazing time was had by all. They had a great lineup and it was a great way to start the festival. I highly recommend checking out the preshow before next year’s Chicago Open Air Festival!
