What do you look for a new fridge? What are your must haves? For us, we are a techy house. If its a new gadget, we have it to try out (and I've blogged a ton of these things that we have tried!). However, with theLG’s InstaView™ Door-in-Door® refrigerators’, you can knock twice to view and select items without opening the door. How awesome is that? I need that just for my kids. I can't tell you how many times they are getting yelled at to figure out what they want before they stand there 10 minutes with the door open. The door-in-door feature is pretty amazing too. You are able to put your most popular items in front and accessible. The ColdSaver™ Panel reduces cold air loss to extend the freshness of food. It is also energy efficient with distinctive styling – sleek design, tinted glass panel, and fingerprint resistant. (All us moms are rejoicing for the fingerprint resistant part of this fridge.)

What do you think of this new feature? What is your favorite feature of this new fridge?

OMG I need one of those in my life. Our fridge is on the way out, so I need a new one badly!

Not sure I like the idea of seeing into my refrigerator. Not always organized very well. Everything just gets put in any old way. I see and understand the idea behind a see through door. My family would still open the door and stand there looking in.

  3. Being able to knock on the door just to see what’s inside it is just neat. I love that smaller middle drawer, I’d like having that feature.

We need a new frig. I love the window in front. Have to check this out.

There is so much technology nowadays when it comes to appliances. I think it’s kind a neat that you can knock on the door it won’t light up what’s inside without opening it. Keep the food cold which of course is ideal.

This fridge looks awesome! I love the light up door feature. It would be a lifesaver in my house with a teenage boy who constantly stands in from of the refrigerator with the door open. Lol!

I am loving the idea of being able to knock twice and get a view into your fridge that would be so useful and save on electric of opening and closing.

  8. This would solve so many problems in my house right now. I have three kids who LURVE to stand in front of the open fridge (letting all the cold air out) while they figure out what’s in there. Being able to knock twice and window shop would be excellent!!!

Just when you think they can’t change a refrigerator, they do!! Pretty cool addition.

I’ve been coveting an LG fridge and always stop to admire them whenever we’re at the home improvement store. I love all of the cool tech features and also the glass. It just might motivate me to keep everything a little more orderly. x

Ok that is so cool that you can knock on the door and all the sudden can see into the fridge! I would get the fridge just for that feature and I would be knocking on it all the time! Haha! Very futuristic and yes, helpful with the kids.

It is my dream to have a door in door refrigerator. It would save a lot on my electric bill because we don’t have to keep on opening the fridge to see what’s inside. Really nice and sleek, this LG refrigerator. Someday, I will bring home one.

I wish I could get one of those. The features are fantastic! However, the only issue I see that prohibits me from buying this LG refrigerator is that my not big enough to fit that in. Maybe I will strike it rich someday and get a bigger house. 🙂
