David Letterman’s Take On John McCain

If you did not see this last night on David Letterman, you definitely need to watch this video (edited: grabbed wrong video):

I've never seen him take such a stand before. However, I don't blame him for being ticked. McCain canceled last minute on him and left him hanging for a guest. The best part is that the reason he told Dave was a complete lie (He went and did an interview with Katie Couric instead!). They also bring up some good points in their bantering of why McCain suspended his campaign. In case you miss it, it is to force one of the debates to be canceled. And which debate do you think would be canceled? Oh yeah, the vice president one. The one that would show Palin to be unqualified as she is. He also asks why Palin couldn't just take over campaigning right now? If she can't be trusted to campaign, how can we trust her the country.

Let me know what you think of the video.

I think Dave makes some really great points, though I must divulge that I'm a devote Dave fan. We did go to the same college and all. I think McCain "suspending" his campaign was the worst decision he could have made and there's more to the reasoning than the BS we were fed in the news conference. This coming from a McCain supporter.
