Dealing With Parenthood With #Amwell #MOMSLOVEAMWELL

Parenthood is hard. Moms and even dads for that matter often neglect an important person: themselves. Parenthood can cause intense feelings of worry, doubt, helplessness and anxiety. Plus, just because we become parents doesn't mean that our mental health issues that we had before go away. If anything, sometimes they get worse.

We never have enough time. With Amwell, you can talk with a therapist on your schedule. Best of all, you can do it from the privacy and comfort of your own home (aff). That means no traffic, waiting rooms, babysitters — just you, your device (smartphone, tablet or computer) and your provider. Amwell’s behavioral health services are available nationwide and include a network of more than 350 therapists, social workers and psychologists.

Prioritizing the mental health of moms is a mission for Amwell and we offer an approach that is convenient, affordable and private. Here are a few examples of situations in which Amwell therapy can help:

  • Trauma and Loss
  • Stress and Anxiety
  • Infertility Stress
  • Changes in Mood
  • Postpartum Support
  • Parenting Issues
  • Anger Management
  • Financial Challenges
  • Substance Abuse
  • Relationship issues

Amwell takes your privacy very seriously. Your visits with our doctors, dieticians and psychologists are secure and HIPAA compliant and are accepted by many major insurers. They also have appointments all times of the day. You can work this into your schedule. You can sometimes even get same day appointments!

Seriously, it'll take you about 5 – 10 minutes to sign up and get an appointment set!

Screen Shot 2015-10-15 at 11.04.55 PMI know my visit was easy and went well. Even if you have technical issues (I did), they called and helped me reconnect, so you don't have to worry about that. I can tell you that it was one of the easiest appointments I've ever had.

I'd like you all to be able to try Amwell too. I have arranged a promo code, so you too can get your first visit free. Just use SOULCARE after you set your appointment.

Have you heard about Amwell before? Is this is a service you would use? (Besides, psychology services, they have other types of doctors also.)

I have never tried one of these website before. I am a little wary because they can physically feel the problem if it is medical, but I think there is a lot of good that can come from this too.

  2. I’ve never tried Amwell, but I can definitely see how it could help. Life is hard, and sometimes talking to someone can help. I’d much rather do that from my own home than making a trip to an office.

We used Amwell a few moths ago and we loved it. They were even able to prescribe medication!

This sounds like an awesome service. I would definitely consider using this if I couldn’t get out of the house to see my real doctor for some reason.

Amwell sounds like a great service. There are some medical issues that I would rather deal with at home rather than waiting in line at the doctor’s clinic,

Parenthood is hard! I have to check out this website, sounds very useful

I’ve heard about this service and it seems to be the best option. Let’s face it, during cold months, a lot of people get sick and when you go to the doctor’s office, you basically picks up everything. This is a better option.

This is perfect for families who don’t have 2 cars, like myself. I know I often struggle getting myself or my girls to the doctors and we always end up in the emergency room. I am definitely going to check this out.

  13. this is so true… parents really don’t take care of ourselves as well as we should. thank you for sharing this information!

This is an interesting service that may work well, especially for the more introverted parents, or the busy ones. Parenthood or being an adult is tough… so it makes sense when you need a professional shoulder to lean on.
