My family and I always look for fun and unique things to do on vacation. Sand Castle University fits that bill and is a great family activity in Gulf Shores!
Do you want to build a sand castle and aren’t sure how? Or do you want to learn how to create better sand castles? That’s where Sand Castle University steps in. Sand Castle University teaches you and your friends/family how to build a sandcastle and shows you right on the beach! If you learn best by doing, this class is for you!

To begin, we set up our pails in a circle.
To start, we then all claimed a bucket to make our castles.
After claiming all the spots, the instructor demonstrated and explained what we needed to do to create the perfect sand castle, including how to use each set of tools.
Lastly, after everyone finished, we took group photos, and the clean-up lasted about 15 minutes. It was amazing how fast the time went by!

Now, what did we all think of this? It was amazing! I can only recommend Sand Castle University. As you can see, we all followed the same directions. Look at the emerging creativity! The adults had just as much fun as the kids! We had a fantastic time, and I cannot wait to take the second class! Janel is a tremendous teacher. Even in the event of accidentally caving in part of your castle (we won’t say who did that), she fixes it, lol.
If you are in Gulf Shores, you have to call Sand Castle University and have Janel come out and teach you the fine art of building a sand castle. The best part is she comes to you! I look forward to seeing your creations!
How fun! I can see my kids loving this. They enjoy building sand castles. They always make one when we go to the beach.

OMG I need to attend Sand Castle University. All I know is how to make a volcano and let me tell you–my kids are NOT impressed.

It has been a long time since we last visited the beach and made sand castles. I look forward to the day I can make them with my son!
This is really fun, I can see kids are enjoying it. when ever we visit beach my kids try to make some castle. That is their activity after swimming in the water.
